La Negrita is a rural retreat near Sacramento, in the province of Heredia. The cabins and garden have views of the Central Valley, and Barva Volcano is just a few kilometres away.
There are two rentals on site. A cosy open-plan cabin, sleeping four, has a bed mezzanine, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen with firewood stove. Nearby is a converted metal container sleeping two in a double bed and with its own bathroom. There is no TV or internet on site.
Outside, guests have access to a 2.5-acre shared garden and are welcome to eat the fruit that grows on site (in season). The garden has trails, a small creek and gazebo/deck areas where you can relax in hammocks or play on the trampoline.
