From the manager: I’m not sure why you have made such comments which are totally unfounded especially as you didn’t turn up as you had broken down on the way, maybe you had just had a bad day and you wanted to take your frustrations out on someone else, please don’t book here again
Lovely small site, friendly owner, back to nature
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Loved staying here, the owner was very welcoming and brought out bats and balls for the children and even brought up her horses for the children to see.
The site is very nice there is a small park for the kids to play on and surrounding fields for them to have a run around in. There I'd also a purpose built fire pit area with logs around it which meant we were able to have an evening roast marshmallows.
The toilet and shower facilities are basic but offer all that you need a nice hot shower. There is even a kitchen area where a kettle and fridge/freezer is provided for guests to use. Over all a lovely site and will definitely be going back again.

Liked The site was clean, tidy and well maintained, loved the fact that we could use fire pits onsite which is a real bonus as many site you cannot. Overall it was a very good site, we really enjoyed our stay and the owners really friendly.

All in all great family friendly site, with good facilities.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked There was a play area for kids which was great to give kids little freedom of their own.
Showers and toilets were good well kept and always had toilet roll at hand which some sites lack.
Washing up station was clean and tidy with fridge freezer for your essentials if you didn't have electric pitches like ourselves.
All in all nice site well kept and very family friendly just what we wanted.
Disliked I didn't dislike anything on site. All i would say if you could manage on site to get extra toilet fitted would just make it better as one of the toilets is in one of shower rooms and if someone having shower only leaves one toilet for the whole site.

Liked The layout of the pitches, plenty of room between tents. It was a quiet, clean site. Check in was easy, lady owner told us where our field was and what was in local area. Toilet and shower block was very clean.
Disliked We were 2 fields from shower/ toilet block, not good when weather is wet like we had during our stay! Block was clean.
