no staff contact what so ever even though we arrived at a time the website said it was still open also stated that it would be in their confirmation email tried to call the contact details which clearly stated to call if reception closed NO ANSWER even emailed the email address again that states to contact if issues NO RESPONSE. No code given for the stupid lock on the gates and no toilet codes given absolute joke of a campsite we hung around the area for over three hours trying to get hold of someone responsible even tried their "HELP" Button on site STILL NO REPLY !!!!!!!! other customers stated it's a free for all pick your pitch and hope for the best this site is an absolute shambles we left in the end as it was beyond a joke and couldn't get in despite paying and having a booking!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!!!! Staff can't be bothered to answer the contact phone nor work to the time stated on a booking site on their behalf DISGUSTING !!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this place zero star rating I would believe me !!!!! After 6 hours driving not even being able to get into our stay was ridiculous and stressful not received any communication to complaint email either so maybe this will get their attention although they seem to like ignoring paying guests ! Found a nicer layby to park up further down the road

Liked: Loved this site! And the surrounding area!!!
Disliked: Being very picky, maybe the shower/bathrooms could have a little clean, be nice to see a staff member or someone on site, also, had to que for a whole to make the final payment in a very busy cafe!
But as i said, being VERY picky!!

Liked: The park itself is lovely, the cafe is great and very reasonable. Check in was straightforward, but they are only open a couple of hours a day, so go and see the staff at the cafe and they can give you the codes you need.
If you like mountain biking then there isn’t a better site for access to the trails. And the pump track was great fun.
This is a quiet site, so if you like seeing staff milling around and checking and chatting this wouldn’t be for you.
A couple of things i looked for in reviews so here goes:
-No wifi
-Good 5G signal
-There are 3 water points, all situated at the furthest end of the site, so take that into account if you’ve gotto roll the aquaroll to the tap.
- the pitches are generally flat, and laid with grasscrete blocks so a good base.
- the pitches are not that long, they advertise 8m but my 6m overhung the rear by about a meter. But didn’t cause an issue just made pegging the awning in easier that end.
- breakfast is very good at the cafe and really reasonable.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the park was a let down. The toilets were barely cleaned in the time we were there. There was often no TP or Soap. Which is a real shame as otherwise the site is 10/10.
I mentioned in the plus points if you’re not bothered about seeing staff every day then it’s for you. But would have been nice to see the toilets cleaned.
The hand drier was blocked (air blade type) with stagnant water from the day we arrived to the day we left. So we gave that a wide birth as it smelt awful.
The warden said that the cafe owners were due to take over the site, (I think that’s what they said). Hopefully they can put the effort into the site that they do in the cafe, as that is excellent.

Liked: Beautiful lovation.
Lovely site.
Spacious, clean.
Good shower/toilet block.
Disliked: Lack of signage for reception. It is through the iron gate to the right of the cafe. Then into the white 'conservatory' on the right. No means to indicate your presence at the desk apart from shouting.
Men's shower drain part blocked and flooding toilets. Fixed when reception opened ext morning.
Check the shower hooks for solidity. Apparently they are regularly stolen!?!?;? Minehead screw missing and tipped .t-shirt into the water on the floor
