Would definitely go here again. Very tidy with excellent facilities
Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked The pitch had been reserved for us as I was in a group of 6 vehicles and Caroline let us go in early as we went there to ride for the weekend.
The staff were all very friendly and the prices in the Cafe were very good

2 night stay, site was clean…
Electric hardstanding and grass touring caravan pitch
Liked 2 night stay, site was clean and tidy. Toilet block was very modern. Park across the road and also one on the cafe next door. With great food lovely walks around the area. We asked if we could leave the caravan there on check out day so we could do another walk and it wasn’t a problem. Definitely go back as it only 40 minutes drive .
Disliked Unfortunately NOT THE SITE FAULT But a few small camper vans turns up with bikes to do the bike track up the mountains .
I take it they used the showers and left half the mountains all over the floor and in the showers it self. So when we went to use them we couldn’t as there was mud everywhere. Bit crap for grow men. But as I said not the sites fault

Electric hardstanding and grass touring caravan pitch
Liked Nice setting and you can get a good breakfast.
Disliked Wrong post code sent out at booking which led us to a closed lane on a steep hill towing a caravan. Trying to reverse out was impossible and burning could be smelt from our cars clutch. The local residents said this has been happening for years and nothing has been done about it. Eventually a farmer towed us out but our weeend was ruined before it had even begun. I have written to the local council who own the campsite seeking compensation and I am waiting to hear back. If you are traveling here use post code CF44 7PS or you will be in serious trouble.

Great site, clean facilities. Will come back again!
Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked Good hard standing, reliable electrics, clean large showers with good water pressure and heat, clean toilets, good facilities for washing/cleaning. Nice cafe and playgrounds on site too, quiet at night.
Disliked Would be nice to be able to book a spot, especially with campers when you go out for the day and come back to someone else in the spot you might have chosen, or indeed park in someone else’s preference!
