What customers say
This well-kept site boasts exceptional, modern, and spotless restrooms. Guests rave about friendly staff, beautiful views, and fun farm animals. Pitches are spacious and level with good WiFi. Minor notes: occasional camper noise, some sloped sites, and narrow access roads. Highly recommended for a peaceful, well-equipped stay.

Liked 10/10
These Guys have got it spot on in every area. The plots are well appointed, the landscaping is tastefully done, the Stream is a lovely feature which complemented the whole aesthetic of the site, the Play park is perfect for Children and with the addition of 2 tractor tyres was my 3 year old Grandsons dream!
The Toilets/showers/washing up space is all enclosed in a warm building with low level music playing so it’s just like washing up in your Kitchen at home which was a really well thought out detail. The Toilets and Showers were immaculately clean with a cleverly placed floor squeegee in each one for you to clean up for the next person.
(No more waddling in to a wet shower floor feeling like you’re standing in someone else’s water) which was another example of the attention to detail of the whole site.
The site shop/Cafe had a perfect selection of essential items including a S’mores kit with Biscuits, Marshmallows and skewers all ready to toast! It was a warm and welcoming environment with comfy Sofas, books to read and of course, Tea, Coffee and Ice Cream available.
There was also a petting area with Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Turkeys and a Pony to safely stroke and feed with a handy sink to wash your hands afterwards.
The Staff couldn’t do enough for you and were so Friendly and helpful and all of whom seemed to take real pride in their site, it had a lovely Family feel to it.
We booked on for 2 nights, extended to 4 but had to leave after 3 due to illness but would definitely go back without a doubt!
Disliked Ummmmm, there was nothing to dislike!

Fantastic campsite within easy reach of the Mach loop
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely site with level pitches that have a water supply and grey waste disposal.
The showers and toilets are fantastic with mens, womans and family showers.
The final approach to the site is down a single track road with passing places which wasn't a problem for us (6.0mt van)
Check in was easy and the lady in reception was friendly and helpful and provided us with some maps for local walks.
We walked from the site to the summit of Foel Caerynwch which is situated on a section of the mach loop then continued on to the Cross Foxes pub for some lunch and a few pints of Snowden ale we had a fantastic afternoon watching the F-15s on the Mach Loop from the beer garden.
We also did 4.43 miles along the Torrent Walk direct from the site we had rain the day previous so the waterfall were spectacular.
We would highly recommend this site and will definitely visit again when we are in Wales 🌞🍻👍
Disliked There is really nothing to dislike about the site and its location

Best Caravan Site We’ve Visited Yet!
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked We had our favourite stay yet since starting caravanning this year! Spent a week here with our dogs and for most of it we had the site to ourselves – so peaceful with stunning mountain views all around. The dog walking field was perfect for morning strolls, and the toilet/shower block was the best we’ve ever seen, spotlessly clean and modern. Also impressed with the WiFi speed, we have a 5G router we usually use for trips however didn’t need it as it worked amazingly which was a nice surprise!
The staff were really friendly and welcoming too they gave us great tips on local walks. We loved visiting the on-site animals too goats, pigs, and even a Highland cow, and feeding them for just 50p was such a fun touch. The site feels wonderfully rural, yet Dolgellau is only 5 minutes away by car and Snowdonia is easily reached too.
An absolute gem of a place we wouldn’t hesitate to return when visiting North Wales again!
