  • Spacious site a short drive from Eryri/Snowdonia National Park
  • Within easy reach of beaches, watersports and a mountain railway
  • Barbecues welcome and several supermarkets within easy reach
Seeking a sojourn within easy reach of the smashingly spectacular Eryri/Snowdonia National Park? Close to several splendid beaches and within easy reach by car or bike from several towns for foodie spots and cosy pubs? Treborth Hall Farm Caravan Site should, then, tick off a fair few of your Welsh holiday boxes. This peaceful walled park is a 20-minute walk from the Anglesey Isle town of Menai Bridge, home to several traditional pubs and other eateries for off-site sips and scoffs. You can be in Bangor on your bike in 15 minutes too, or hop in the car and be there in less than 10; highly beau Beaumaris is bikeable too – reach it in a little over half an hour on two wheels, or be there in half the time on four. When it comes to stuff for kids to do, they’ve got reams of room to roam freely around, plus a play area too should they require fun structures to clamber on; for a spot of gentle grownup activity, there's a public footpath just outside that forms a loop connecting to the Wales Coast Path, which in turn provides access to Treborth Botanic Garden. For food on site you’re more than welcome to get a barbecue going – several supermarkets are within easy reach around the nearby towns for all your sizzling supplies, and there are also lots of pubs, restaurants and takeaways too. Among the on-site amenities are toilets and two shower blocks with coin-operated showers with plenty of piping-hot water.

Powered grass campsite

Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Arrived didn't know where to go. Directions wasn't very clear. Finally found the pitch after a second phone call. Camping toilet's dirty shower needs updating. Left after 1 night as it was too late to find anywhere else or we would have left the same day. Very disappointed as the pictures were beautiful. Only good thing it was a short walk to the Menai Bridge.

Powered cement/asphalt campsite

Liked: Really nice friendly site, the owners were great. A short walk (10 min) from the pub on the mainland side of Menai Bridge and a 5 minute drive into Bangor. WIFI is a bit flakey right now but they are having some repeaters installed to get sitewide coverage. The site has all facilities needed and they are currently adding more. I will definitley be back next year. At the wekend they have a food van working.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Friendliness, facilities conveniently close. Help with parking van for the day when we were leaving. Quiet site. Alpacas were interesting too. We stayed there while doing a cycle tour of Anglesey - ideally placed for this.

Liked: Very clean with plenty of area (grass area and playground) for children to play. Nearby to the city centre, so ideal for quick trips to the shops. Also close to Menai Bridge, so it made a nice walk over the bridge.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (two person)

Liked: Excellent fields for pitching nice and flat and lots of space between pitches, two toilet facilities, one was brand new and very well kept. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, would definitely stay again. Close to Bangor city aswell as Anglesey and Snowdonia, perfect location wise.

Disliked: The toilet near our pitch ran out of toilet roll and wasnt restocked but not the end of the world. No wifi on offer as far as we could see but this wasn’t a problem for us, may be for others.
