This peaceful campsite has great views and roomy spots. Campers love the clean, useful facilities, including a barn with cooking and seating. Perfect for nature lovers and hikers seeking a quiet escape. Minor points: occasional shower lines and some road noise, but excellent value and highly recommended.

‘Home’ is where the ❤️ is
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked A sanctuary. When I arrive I say to myself “I’m home” ☺️ A place where I can just ‘be’. This special place has a connection with its surroundings, heritage snd nature like no other camping site. Homely whilst extremely well run by Theresa and Ian. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of staying on your farm. Cosy and safe. I leave a little piece of my soul behind every time I depart.

Peacefully, friendly, well equipped.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Friendly staff. Really helpful.
Great facilities with a large indoor cooking and social area which was perfect for me in the rain and on just a motorbike allowed me to have some dry time!
In Thier listing they don't have motorcycle friendly ticked. But I can tell you they absolutely are, even directed me to a pitch with some hard standing next to it for the bike. Would 100% come back again!
They are also doing some upgrades and hope to have a drying room and other facilities soon.
They also have a small pantry items honesty shop with things like milk, soft drinks, snacks, local honey, and canned goods.
Service here for phones is spotty which for me was lovely to have some non electrical time. But they do offer usb charging for electrical goods in the barn.
Disliked Nothing.

Disliked The occasional very cold shower 😂

From the manager: Hi, thank you for your kind review.
I'm sorry you had a cold shower, we'd had a power cut which tripped the gas heater in the campers' barn. As soon as Ian realised what had happened he reset the heater. If you identify a problem when on site we massively appreciate being told about it at the time. The showers should always be hot, so if they are not there is a problem which we can fix as soon as we are made aware. Theresa.

One of my favourite campsites, highly recommend.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The site is peaceful, never packed out so each pitch has lots of space and is great for dogs. The walks from the site are stunning, it is very well managed, maintained and the facilities are brilliant. I have stayed here many times and will keep returning.

Liked Fantastic campsite in the Brecon Beacons. Excellent value for money, beautiful spacious pitches close to wildlife and brilliant Campers barn for when it’s wet and challenging outside!

I've been before to this campsite…
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked I've been before to this campsite which is why I came back. Cannot fault anything. The facilities are always clean, the staff that I saw were very friendly, the camping fields were well kept and pitches were miles apart, although you can choose where to pitch. I also bought my dog (who enjoys letting everyone know he's there) but as we were so far apart from other tents he was able to have a chilled time as well.
I cannot recommend this campsite enough. The site is close to lots of walks as well as Brecon where there is supermarkets should you need supplies. It's in a lovely secluded spot and I will definitely be coming back next year ☺️
