Me gustó Wonderful campsite on a farm with lots of space, very calm and the views are amazing. Waking up to the sun peeking over the mountaintop can‘t be matched.

The large barn repurposed to a community space is a wonderful idea. The toilets and showers were always clean and functioning. Thank you for the great memories!

No me gustó The way to and from the toilets could be better illuminated, so remember to carry a flashlight!

Just for clarity, we are situated in a Dark Sky Reserve so we use minimal lighting to enhance the star gazing experience for our campers. We advise campers to bring a good torch with them for evening trips to the loo!

Quiet location with plenty of choices of where to pitch up.

Me gustó Really liked the spacing between pitches and having a whole area to ourselves.
The views were stunning.
The facilities were fantastic and offered more than we expected.
After a long day walk from the site the honesty fridge with cold drinks and snacks was very appreciated.

No me gustó Toilets/showers were not enough for a full site. However, with adjusting your timings they were available and hot!
I know there are plans to expand these facilities which will help.

Me gustó Scenery is incredible and we got a lovely opportunity to stargaze too. So peaceful and spacious - despite there being quite a lot of campers it never felt crowded. Very good facilities and always very clean. Would definitely return.

No me gustó We loved disconnecting with no phones or internet, but wished we had downloaded local maps before we went! On day trips we had to set off and hope we were going in the right direction until we got signal.

Me gustó best campsite ive been to, great facilities, views from the site are fantastic, a great honesty system with the shop, people i met were lovely, and your right in the centre of brecon which gives you a lot of things to do! cant recommend this one enough

Me gustó - Views are stunning
- Authentic stay, loved the communal space and facilities
- Clean and new showers/toilets
- Honesty shop make it so handy
- So so peaceful but also touching to be around wildlife such as sheep etc.
- Owners of the farm are very approachable, especially
- I brought my cavapoo and she loved it. VERY dog friendly, you do have to keep dogs on a lead if they cant be controlled.
- I liked how this was adults only.
- Wild camping feels without the wild camping

No me gustó - Did have to wait a while for a shower (only 2 showers), which is fine and can see they are developing more for 2027.
- No signal, but for me thats a positive as could really unwind.

- facilities (the Barn / communal area is great, especially for getting out of the sun in this heat wave)
- fridge system - great to actually have somewhere to store bits
- friendliness of owners
- honesty box / shop
- camping spots
- decent showers & bathrooms
- facilities / barn was cleaned every day
- apple juice!

No me gustó - no official welcome / greet on arrival - not a massive deal, but as someone with disabilities it’s good to get my bearings

- sign sad no under 14’s, on the last night there was a family with children / toddlers on site

Thank you for your review and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay overall.

I must confess it would be difficult for us to meet and greet every camper that comes on site, as we are two pensioners running a busy site with multitude of tasks to complete each day, as well as taking care of our eight horses. We have a large arrival window of eight hours for our guests' convenience (although we often have to deal with late arrivals as well) and it is impossible to make ourselves continually available to greet people for that period of time, although at least one of us is always on site and always available should any camper need us. If you had any concerns at all that your disability would impact on the enjoyment of your stay in any way, you could have let us know in the multiple emails that we had from you prior to your arrival and we could have provided further information or ensured that we were contactable when you arrived. We do hope that the comprehensive information sent prior to arrival, plus the site map and information in our campers' barn helps most people to get their bearings. We are a little surprised at the comment regarding a lack of greet on arrival from you however, as Ian clearly remembers speaking to you when you arrived, as there had been some confusion regarding your booking and payment and there was an outstanding sum to be paid while you were on site with us, and you discussed this with him when you first arrived.

With regards to the young children on site - I am very shocked at this as we are strict about our policy to only allow teenage children on site. I have spoken to a friend who stayed at the same time as you, and she was unaware of any young children. Ian rides around the site on his bike several times a day and did not see youngsters. We do allow children of 14 and over, and I know we had a few of those staying. I can only say to you what I tell everyone who has a problem or concern when they are staying with us - please let us know while you are here, as that is the only way we can do anything about it. I know that you spoke to Ian before you left, as you paid your camping bill, and it would have been useful to us if you had mentioned it then, as we could have investigated further. Theresa and Ian.
