Liked Absolutely beautiful setting, perfect hosts, unstaffed, well stocked shop with honesty box so available 24/7. Beautifully maintained and stunning, private riverside area.
Honestly one of the best campsites I have stayed at. Perfect location for the Welsh Showground.
Disliked No dislikes at all.

It’s wonderful to hear you found the site beautifully maintained and that it was one of the best campsites you’ve stayed at. We’re also really pleased the location worked so well for the Welsh Showground.

Super location, super clean facilities, super friendly.

Liked An amazing location next to the river and nestled in between the hills, surrounded by ewes & lambs. The owner was very friendly and chilled. Place was super tidy, bathrooms always clean. We loved the ability to really have challenging walks up the hill and along the River Wye.
A small site, which was just what we wanted.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted you enjoyed the peaceful riverside location, the surrounding hills, and the company of the ewes and lambs.
It’s great to hear that the facilities were clean and tidy throughout your stay, and that you were able to make the most of the walks along the River Wye and up into the hills. We’re really pleased the small, relaxed feel of the site was just what you were looking for.
We’d be very happy to welcome you back again
Very clean and Adam was always very friendly and helpful.

Liked Beautiful location
Disliked Only one shower, which wasn't a problem in April. Slightly odd arrangement of electric hook ups, they were in amongst the seasonal pitches, lodges, and static caravans - so we were very close to caravans both sides. One of which was occupied for the weekend.

From the manager: We’re pleased you enjoyed the beautiful location and found the site very clean, and it’s lovely to hear that Adam was friendly and helpful during your stay.
We appreciate your comments about the shower and the electric hook-up layout. It’s helpful feedback, and we’re glad it didn’t cause an issue during your April visit. As a small family run site, some pitches are closer to seasonal pitches and caravans than others, but we understand this may not suit everyone’s preference.
Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.
Calm and beautiful location, great and spotless facilities!

Liked Check-in was smooth. The proprietor, Adam, was super welcoming and friendly, offering suggestions for local walks and pubs. The toilet/shower block was spotless and very clean. There was also areas for pot washing with a microwave and kettle as well. Plenty of space for tent pitches.

Lovely feel about the place, friendly staff and brilliant facilities
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked It was lovely to stay here. Brilliant and useful facilities, a nice warm shower, clean toilets, microwave, washing up station and an honesty shop, Fantastic! A nice scenic location, I enjoyed spending some time by the very nearby beautiful river. It also has consistent 4 bars of 4G mobile data (giffgaff/O2) connection which is helpful. It was very nice to be able to park right next to my tent, this made unpacking and packing very easy. Best of all were the fantastic driving roads nearby and not to far from the British Rally Championship stages I went to see.

Spacious campsite, everything you needed
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Really loved the honesty shop, the bathroom facilities were clean and always available for us to use. We only stayed for one night as a base point but it was a really lovely campsite
Disliked Not much to dislike, we had a slight delay checking in but this was likely due to us arriving later than planned
