Well-kept, clean campground with helpful, friendly staff. Enjoy mountain views & convenient access to Brecon. Guests loved the heated pool, spacious sites, and spotless facilities. A few noted toilet block distance from some spots & occasional noise.

Lovely break

Liked Park was clean, owners extremely helpful and polite. Lovely scenery and close enough location to take a stroll into Brecon Town. Didn’t use ourselves but heated pool is definitely an added extra, especially if are with children.

Liked The staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is a lovely restaurant called Hills which do amazing burgers but not much else.
It’s great for families not so much for peace and quiet.
Disliked A huge site with only one toilet and shower block. Our pitch was a very very long way from the facilities!

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked I only had a quick one night stop over to play golf locally, but the couple who own the site were so friendly and accommodating, really made a new RV owner feel welcome and sure I could wing it on my own for the night. Good Luck with the Season, it's a great site, very well appointed with everything you could wish for available!

Site ruined by intimidating and drunken behaviour.
Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Location under Pen y Fan. Clean.
Disliked We stayed on a summer weekend in an area of the campsite where there are a lot of seasonal pitches. The campsite doesn't accept bookings from groups but this is irrelevant when the seasonal pitches include groups who move from one pitch to another, socialising loudly, playing music and getting increasingly drunk. Never, on a campsite have I been surrounded by so many inebriated people without any sense of courtesy to other campsite users. Two call-outs to the warden had short-term effect but also lead to one angry and intimidating lady taking it upon herself to find out "who complained".

From the manager: Hello, and thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your visit on one of the evenings due other site users.
As per our rules quiet time on site begins at 10:30pm which is strongly enforced and managed
During the daytime and evenings guests are allowed to enjoy their holidays, laugh, socialise and even listen to music within reason.
Whilst we appreciate that noise levels can sometimes be higher during busy summer weekends, this does not necessarily mean that site rules are being broken.
We always encourage guests to be considerate of others, whilst balancing the fact that everyone is entitled to enjoy the site before quiet hours begin.
Your complaints began with a text at 6:03pm followed by a very rude call less than 15 minute later where you abruptly hung up on me when asked for the location of the noise. Despite this wardens responded and walked the whole of site and spoke to several groups of people enjoying themselves to remind them about being courteous of others even though there was no excessive noise, bad language, loud music or inebriated people on site. Your texts continued till about 8:20pm where you then sent a video of people enjoying a BBQ. I as a manager then walked around site and spoke to the group who respectfully went back to their awning even though it was still early and not quiet time.
The fact is we received more complaints from seasonals and tourers alike about your continued complaints, rudeness and attitude which effected the weekend for many of our guests.
Whilst I appreciate that this evening did not live up to your expectations, I would also like to remind you that this is a family campsite and not a library.
Good campsite for a weekend in wales

Liked Peaceful site
Pitches has a lot of space
Great location for walks around the area
Great views
Disliked The main block for showers, toilets and washing up for people camping was away from the camping field in the permanent caravan site. If we were camping with younger children this would have been more of a problem.
