What customers say
This campsite boasts stunning ocean views & great amenities like a kitchen, laundry, & popular kids' play area. Pitches are spacious. It's usually peaceful, though some found it windy. Shower temps were a minor issue for some, but a family room had adjustable temps. Owners are super friendly & helpful.

Fantastic family campsite with spotless facilities and lovely staff.

We had a fantastic stay here as a family and would happily return.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and relaxed, even allowing us to choose our own pitch. We ended up on Pitch 38 next to the playground, which was ideal for keeping an eye on my two children (aged 10 and 5) while still being able to relax. The pitch was a great size and perfectly flat for our tent.
The facilities were outstanding. The toilets and showers were spotless throughout our stay, and the family/access room was excellent. The water pressure was spot on, the temperature was always right, and, as a parent, I felt completely comfortable letting my children use the facilities independently without having to check them first.
The playground was a huge hit and kept both children entertained for hours. My youngest spent most of the trip riding around on his bike and making friends. The animals were also a favourite, especially the incredibly friendly goats, which became a bit of an attraction for us all!
The site had a lovely atmosphere. It naturally quietened down around sunset and although children were still enjoying the playground, there was never any excessive noise. It felt safe, family-friendly and well managed.
A special mention to the staff, who were brilliant throughout.
For anyone visiting the area, I’d also highly recommend La Fontana. Incredible food and some of the friendliest, most polite staff we’ve ever come across.
Overall, a fantastic campsite with excellent facilities, great pitches, friendly staff and a brilliant environment for families.
Disliked Very little to dislike. If I was being extremely picky, a few more options in the shop would be nice, but they had everything needed for a comfortable stay and this certainly didn’t affect our experience.

Fantastic site!

Liked Lovely campsite, the view is stunning, we caught some amazing sunsets, and the play park was great for my daughter. We also loved feeding the pigs apples and strawberries! We stayed for 5 nights and had no issues. The toilets were kept clean. The family bathroom was a god send for me and my daughter as she is only 7 and the single cubicles would have been tricky to manoeuvre the 3 of us. Great pitch sizes too. The owners were very kind. WiFi signal was great too! Can be a little windy but obviously to be expected. We had a fantastic time and would stay again :)
Disliked The only thing I think could make an improvement is more hooks in showers/toilets. That’s literally it!

Liked A wonderful short stay that we wish was longer. The campsite is in a remote location but close to beautiful Mwnt beach. Great amenities. Hosts were warm and welcoming.

No staff around, shop never opened and showers full of bird poo.

Liked Sea views
Disliked Shop not open. Showers had lots of bird poo all over them.
In the middle pitch up area the wind was so strong that it was impossible to sit out. No shelter at all provided from hedges or trees. Very open and no good at all if in a tent as the lack of natural shelter meant the tents were blown so much. Left a day earlier.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
We are sorry to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points for future guests considering our coastal location.
Our shop operates during busier periods of the season and this is clearly reflected within our site information. Regarding the shower facilities, a number of protected house martins have chosen to nest in the area adjacent to the shower block. Whilst the facilities are cleaned daily and checked regularly throughout the day, this is unfortunately an ongoing challenge during nesting season and one that must be managed carefully due to wildlife protection regulations.
With regard to the wind exposure, the weather last week was unusually cold and windy for the time of year. As a coastal site, we are naturally more exposed to changing sea weather conditions. Guests who spend time exploring the local coastal paths and surrounding area will notice there is a distinct lack of trees and dense hedging along this stretch of coastline due to the environment and prevailing winds.
We also feel that scores of 3/10 for facilities and 1/10 for customer service do not fairly reflect the experience most of our guests report and are certainly not representative of the feedback we regularly receive about the site and our team.
We appreciate all feedback and continually work to provide the best possible experience while balancing the realities of our unique coastal setting and natural environment.
Lovely stay on a well maintained site with nice owners.

Liked Lovely owners, who would go out of their way to accommodate you.
Very large pitches, which is unusual nowadays.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay again if we travelled to Wales.
Disliked Shower cubicles clean and tidy, but they are a tad small, not really sure how this could be rectified though.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the spacious pitches and our hospitality. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the shower cubicles — while space is a little limited, we’re pleased to hear you found them clean and tidy. We hope to welcome you back again
Very peaceful and relaxing site, just what we needed.

Liked Lovely welcome from the owner. Very large electric hook-up pitch, only down side was that it was on a slight hill so even with the chocks still not very level. Lovely view out to sea and a nice little walk over the fields. Couldn’t get over the size of the cows in adjoining field 😀 There was plenty of room for children to play and a nice little park (we didn’t have children with us). Didn’t try facilities as used our own.
Disliked Slight hill.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review. We’re so pleased you enjoyed the warm welcome, sea views, spacious pitch and peaceful walks across the fields. The cows next door certainly do make an impression — they belong to our neighbouring farmer and are very friendly despite their size 😀
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the slight hill on your pitch. We’re always happy to help guests move to a different pitch where possible. We hope to welcome you back again soon.
