In the middle pitch up area the wind was so strong that it was impossible to sit out. No shelter at all provided from hedges or trees. Very open and no good at all if in a tent as the lack of natural shelter meant the tents were blown so much. Left a day earlier.

We are sorry to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points for future guests considering our coastal location.

Our shop operates during busier periods of the season and this is clearly reflected within our site information. Regarding the shower facilities, a number of protected house martins have chosen to nest in the area adjacent to the shower block. Whilst the facilities are cleaned daily and checked regularly throughout the day, this is unfortunately an ongoing challenge during nesting season and one that must be managed carefully due to wildlife protection regulations.

With regard to the wind exposure, the weather last week was unusually cold and windy for the time of year. As a coastal site, we are naturally more exposed to changing sea weather conditions. Guests who spend time exploring the local coastal paths and surrounding area will notice there is a distinct lack of trees and dense hedging along this stretch of coastline due to the environment and prevailing winds.

We also feel that scores of 3/10 for facilities and 1/10 for customer service do not fairly reflect the experience most of our guests report and are certainly not representative of the feedback we regularly receive about the site and our team.

We appreciate all feedback and continually work to provide the best possible experience while balancing the realities of our unique coastal setting and natural environment.

Very large pitches, which is unusual nowadays.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay again if we travelled to Wales.

Tyckte inte om Shower cubicles clean and tidy, but they are a tad small, not really sure how this could be rectified though.

Tyckte om Lovely welcome from the owner. Very large electric hook-up pitch, only down side was that it was on a slight hill so even with the chocks still not very level. Lovely view out to sea and a nice little walk over the fields. Couldn’t get over the size of the cows in adjoining field 😀 There was plenty of room for children to play and a nice little park (we didn’t have children with us). Didn’t try facilities as used our own.

The cows next door certainly do make an impression — they belong to our neighbouring farmer and are very friendly despite their size 😀

Tyckte om Despite arriving late we were greeted on arrival. Everything explained to us clearly. Relaxed and friendly. Good size pitches. Clean facilities. Lovely unexpected extras - a kettle, toaster and hob- to make those early morning camping starts a little easier.

Tyckte om Spacious pitches and stunning views. Bathroom and showers very clean and tidy. Childrens park had a good selection of equipment for all ages. The owners very helpful and friendly.

Tyckte inte om Very windy as open to the elements being high up on a cliff. The shop only opens for 2 hours per day and the stock inside is extremley limited so make sure you stock up before hand.

Tyckte om Really great site, the play park was brilliant for the kids and we had plenty of space to pitch up.

The laundry room had washers and dryers, microwave, toaster, kettle, a large fridge to use if needed. The showers and toilets were all well maintained.

We stayed here when storm Dave hit and the owners were super helpful and accomodating, we could not have asked for better.

Tyckte om Such a lovely family caravan park. The kids loved being so close to the playground and they made so many friends over the time we spent there. Really beautiful views and just an overall relaxing atmosphere. We will be returning

Tyckte om Spacious flat pitches, owners were lovely, bathrooms cleaned daily, great spot for heading out, cute pigs on site, friendly other campers. My son loved the park! Beautiful space.

Tyckte inte om Not the campsites fault at all but Very windy on a windy day and a bit too much for my pop top campervan. But I didn't think that part through before booking. Still had a fab time!
