  • Luxurious glamping pods in a scenic Highland setting
  • Two miles from Strathpeffer; Inverness a 25-minute drive
  • Ensuite accommodation with underfloor heating and spectacular views
Set at the foot of Ben Wyvis and with panoramas over the lovely Victorian village of Strathpeffer, this homely Highland site may well be just the thing for folks looking for a rural getaway involving hikes on the North Coast 500. The site's elevated position means that the views here are pretty fantastic, while at night dark skies make it possible to spot shooting stars, get up to some astrophotography or, if you're lucky, catch a glimpse of the gorgeous Northern Lights. Inside, these smart glamping pods are kept warm with underfloor heating. Each unit has access to a modern ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, plus a well-equipped kitchenette, extra-comfy beds and luxurious linen. Outside, each pod has a stylish decking area where you can sit on garden furniture and admire the view. This area also has a firepit for keeping warm and is very close to two cow folds, meaning you're certain to have a good view of the shaggy Highland cattle that graze in neighbouring fields. The village of Strathpeffer is two miles away and has excellent restaurant options. The closest major supermarket is in Dingwall, roughly 10 minutes away by road.
