What customers say
Peaceful rural campsite, simple and rustic. Guests loved the friendly host, good value, and on-site kitchen. Mostly flat, well-drained pitches. Basic amenities, but great base for exploring. Signage and farm equipment screening could improve.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked It was nearly last minute booking. And everything was clearly explained on site, so we knew where we were going. This place has plenty of potencial if will be developed further. Reminded stays in my grannys farm.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The stay was inexpensive with good weekend availability for my late booking. The facilities were limited but this was expected and clear in the description on Pitch Up. The neutral overall rating balances the above factors.
Vehicles are parked beside the pitch. The owner was on site and helpfully provided a steel plate for my motorbike side stand.
The location made a convenient base for touring around Strangford Loch and the Mourne Mountains. The site itself was located on a mown small grass field next to the working farm.
