Primitive grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: Quiet site; no big electric lights to block starlight; very friendly and helpful owner/host; beautiful views, close to conveniences.

Disliked: Could do with better signposting from the surrounding roads, as even Google maps can't seem to find it. Having said that, the owner did send explicit directions by text ahead of time. A more accessible shower would be nice for those staying longer than one night.

Primitive grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this site and will definitely be back. It has beautiful views of the beach and surrounding area. Our hosts were so helpful in all areas of our stay from options of where to pitch the tent (There was an option of a lower more sheltered site or the main site itself which is more elevated, we chose the main site and had no issues) places to visit around the area and places to eat. Very friendly and down to earth and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful area and peaceful and quiet. Facilities are clean.

Powered grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: the views are not bad, the way the clouds roll of the mountains are spectacular. just do not stay here.

Disliked: totally exposed to the elements, I'm in health and safety and this is a total lack of duty of care. it is the responsibility of the owner to ensure the safety of any person's visiting their site. I am currently sat in my car waiting for the real possibility of my tent flying into the ocean due to extreme high winds. I have been camping for approximately 8 years and will be reporting this to the local authorities.

From the manager: Unfortunately the weather is out of my control. It is on a hill and is exposed to the elements. Ever campsite that is elevated will always be exposed to the elements. People have a choice to pitch there tent in a more sheltered area. It is advertised that it is on a elevated site. I will look into how I can make it more sheltered in the future.
