What customers say
This adult-only site has spacious, well-kept spots and clean facilities. It’s lauded for its calm vibe and easy access off the M4. Staff are friendly, and there’s a great dog walk area. A few guests noted some A350 road noise and dated facilities, but cleanliness is praised. A top choice for a relaxing getaway.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Very pleasant site, well kept, clean and tidy everywhere. Great size gravel pitches which included a grass area. Very quiet did not hear much traffic noise from our pitch. Very nice hosts all in all a great stay.

Liked Lovely campsite. Road was quite loud tho
Disliked Didn’t love that we had pitch 21 with the dog area behind us and most people would cut across our grass multiple times a day which our dogs weren’t best please with lol

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked I asked for a pitch close to facilities which was arranged and the facilities were found to be very clean. Large pitch was great. Staff polite and very friendly. Really quiet. The noise from the road could hardly be heard
Disliked Not a deal breaker but Information folders with details of walks etc. were kept in the office so not always accessible.
WiFi was a new system and we did find it dropped out quite a lot. However this was being rectified later that week.

Great site, peaceful, clean and friendly
FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Peaceful campsite, spotlessly clean, well-spaced pitches. Lots of information in the reception area, friendly staff. We found a decent cycle route to visit Lacock (11km each way, mainly on cycle paths or shared pedestrian/cycle paths). Others had mentioned the road noise, but it really isn't intrusive, nor that loud and we didn't find it an issue at all (it's more of a slow hum). Good price, would re-visit if we came back to the area.

Liked The site was very tidy, toilets and showers were very clean, owners were friendly. Other campers were friendly and chatty. Easy to get to, close to lots of amenities
Disliked Road was a bit noisy at night but daytime you don't really notice as usual out and about. So would ask for a pitch on the left hand side of the reception
