What customers say
This beloved campground boasts stunning views and a relaxed, informal vibe. Guests rave about the exceptionally clean restrooms and warm showers. Plenty of space to pick your own spot. Great location for exploring local attractions. A few minor notes: limited restroom capacity during peak times and no hot water at the dishwashing sink. Highly recommended, many plan to return.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely site with warm showers and clean toilets. Surrounded by wildlife and tawny owls hooting all night! A perfect place to switch off.
Disliked Not a dislike at all, just a note in case anyone struggles with walking and chooses the site due to the nearby pub - the pub is 0.7 miles down a steep hill. 100% worth the walk but maybe not an easy one for everyone.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautiful location and very peaceful. Simple but good facilities and a quasi wild camping feel. No caravans. Lovely sunset, views over the hills. Owls hooting at night, very audible in a tent. Friendly and helpful owner. This is a big site, you can choose wherever you wish to pitch, though some ground is sloping. I stayed during mid-October, it’s great to find a year round campsite.
Disliked Nothing really.

Shepherd's hut
Liked Loved our stay in the little shepherd's hut, the place is very clean, our dogs love the place as well, although sometimes we had to put them on the leash, we were able to unleash them and they love the freedom. The place is not packed when we booked which is a good thing.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great location for what we wanted. Liked the availability of space and to choose your own pitch upon arrival. Basic facilities available, 3 showers and 3 toilets, but great for what we needed for one night. Great communication on the morning of our arrival with instructions of where to go and what to do when we arrived.
Overall very pleased with the site 👍😁

As above, Dry ground, friendly staff. Good location.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked A Great 🏕 site with a perfect view of Glastonbury Tor. Its off grid, with the creature comfort of hot shower 🚿, running water and 🚻 . Perfect for people who love wild camping. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The village has a gorgeous pub which serves food. Wells and Shepton Mallet are both a stones throw away by car. (10-15 minutes drive. ) I recommend The Shepherd's hut if ground camping 🏕 is not your thing. I did both. Ground is on a gradient, which means it's dry, (and no midges) Even with all the rain ☔ we had this week. Highly recommended.
