What customers say
Beautiful, peaceful, well-kept site with private, spacious pitches. Clean compost toilets & showers. Owner Jenny is friendly and helpful. Rural setting, near attractions. Some suggest better signage & more frequent toilet emptying in heat.

From the manager: Thank you Helena, I really appreciate all reviews. Sorry if the toilets smelt, I clean them at least twice a day but with the hot weather and occasionally sawdust being put in the wrong section, it can be more of a challenge to prevent this but I will try. 🙂

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautifully quiet location with well kept pitches between uncut meadow grass. Our first experience of campervanning, so only stayed one night, and very impressed. Toilets and showers clean, well organised and plenty of loo roll. Would be great to have some soap at the sinks - I kept forgetting to take mine everytime I needed the loo!
Near to NT Stourhead which is beautiful. Great coffee van just down the road near the tower.
Jenny was lovely and checked that everything was ok. Will be returning!!
