What customers say
This spacious, clean campsite has a relaxed vibe, great facilities, and is a short walk to Cheddar village. Staff are friendly, pitches are large, and there are food trucks and a bar. It can get busy, especially on weekends, with occasional noise. Recycling and dog-friendly policies are a plus.

Big site with everything you will…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Big site with everything you will ever need while camping. Staff were brilliant all day and night. Charging points as we had non electric pitch were very handy. Great location too as Cheddar village is a 20min walk away.

Primitive grass campsite

Primitive grass campsite
Liked What a beautiful campsite!! The views are gorgeous, the owners (Jules and his daughter) are just delightful and they really put in the effort to make you feel welcome and to ensure you have everything you need :). The toilets and showers were clean, fields nice and flat. Everyone is spaced out nicely. There is a bar (old double decker bus converted) which was so well priced, food vans, music (brilliant), plenty for the kids to play on including a tractor and old land rover. The owner Jules told me the story of how he started the campsite and got emotional telling me so you can tell how much they care about their site and your stay. Wonderful place will definately be back, so thank you for having us. Also not far at all from Cheddar Gorge and any amenities. Dog and family friendly. Lovely stream not far from the site for the dogs either.
