Liked: This has by far been the best campsite we’ve yet to visit! And we’ve visited quite a few. The facilities were fabulous. Clean and spacious Toliets and showers with a really well stocked shop with really yummy produce. The view and access the chesil nature reserve was just wonderful! Not to mention direct access to the SW costal path. We felt absolutely spoilt here! Will definitely be re-visiting soon!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing

Liked: The site was great. Facilities, location, staff. We had no problems and really enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: The site is located next to an, "inland," sea. Beautiful to walk round but bathing is prohibited. Didn't effect us, but may others, particularly, if like us, exploring the area for the first time.

Liked: Friendly greeting, excellent customer service. All questions answered.
Clean and tidy grounds, shower facilities were excellent with your own cubicle to choose from and were clean.
Shop was well stocked and good to look around.
Disliked: A bit confusing trying to find your pitch! Numbers were hard to see on the ground!
Young female bar staff was absolutely useless! No common sense! Didn’t even have the sense to ask experienced staff for help! Steak was supposed to be cooked medium! but afater a long wait, it was well done! and ‘as tuff as old boots!’

FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked: The site was extremely clean and well maintained and the shower blocks were the best I have seen, all other facilities were of high standard.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
This was our third visit and we will definitely go back.
Disliked: When we were at the end of our stay the site became much busier and some people were allowing there dogs to foul without clearing it up.
There are enough bins about but could be a concern with little children about.

Liked: Excellent bathroom facilities. Great shop witha range of essentials, plus a VERY well supplied camping section.
The restaurant was a bonus - decent food and beer. As was the option to order criossants and baguettes for each morning - they were still warm when we collected them, The pain au chocolat were EPIC.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful - a great team.
The views across to Chesil Beach and surrounding area was beautiful. I'd also recommend a stroll to The Lugger Inn, as you pass the Fleet Old Church - very small, but very pretty.
