Electric gravel touring pitch
Fully serviced

  • Spacious pitches on the Dorset coast, overlooking Chesil Beach
  • A 10-minute drive to central Weymouth; 15 mins to Isle of Portland
  • On-site bar for drinks and food; play area and playing field
You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

What customers say

This top-rated campsite boasts clean, spacious showers and friendly staff. Enjoy the well-stocked shop and beautiful coastal walks. Most pitches are spacious, though some noted Wi-Fi issues and sloped sites. Occasional playground noise and peak-time toilet cleanliness concerns were mentioned.

Liked -Great facilities including a well stocked and fair priced shop as well as evening entertainment.
-Welcoming staff
-A good number of family showers that can be used, so good for families with younger children.
-Play park.

Disliked -Only one shower and toilet block for where we were staying and it wasn’t the closest to our pitch.

Liked A well presented site with some lovely views and nearby walks.

Although it was an hours wait for food it was nice.

Pizza from the barn was also very good.

Disliked Had entertainment for only two nights, I feel even if the barn was opened up more with some music playing would give people something to do on an evening.

Liked Fully serviced pitch. Hard standing with water, waste and electricity. Good and level and secure.
Toilets and showers were good but not spotless. Showers were powerful and hot!

Disliked Noise from the barn entertainment. Although this is free and what a lot of people enjoy but with a 7 year old in the van getting to sleep before 10pm was difficult

Powered grass tent campsite

Liked Good facilities, pretty clean, Louise and Zoe very helpful and friendly...gave great advice and helped us immensely.
The shop well stocked and reception staff great upon arrival.

Disliked A member of bar staff, blonde girl, completely hostile when I asked for a couple of beers, absolutely no manners towards most customers, especially my daughter. I gave her a chance and came back again, but it was still the same...all too much trouble to greet people with a smile, say thank you and look like she wanted to be there. I asked if we could move table as we were in the sun and she mumbled something. I apologised and asked her to repeat what she had said. It was like the end of the world as she look down at me and glared, then commented to her colleagues. Disgusting !
There was a long dark haired member of the team that was magic and made everyone feel welcome and knew the area quite well when I enquired.
The frozen processed food didn't go down well with us and we never ate there again due to this. Sad thing is it's a farm and the food doesn't reflect this. I realise you're catering for the majority, but processed isn't the way forward. I would happily pay an extra 5 pounds for fresh food.
A glass of red wine £10.00??.. also palatable, but not worth £10.00
Happy for a call to discuss.

Powered grass tent campsite

Liked Great location, a bit slopey in areas for tents. My pitch wasn't too bad. Good facilities. Food at the restaurant is average for the price. Pint is £6. Play park is good for the kids. Bring your own ping pong set or have to buy from the shop as they don't rent them out. Local aldi, sysrbucks and burger King .6 miles away. Evening entertainment on in the barn.

Disliked Toilets are not cleaned often enough and are disgusting from the first thing in the morning. WiFi a ross site for free but didn't work for us and we were under a mast.

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
