Electric gravel touring pitch
Fully serviced

  • Spacious pitches on the Dorset coast, overlooking Chesil Beach
  • A 10-minute drive to central Weymouth; 15 mins to Isle of Portland
  • On-site bar for drinks and food; play area and playing field
You’ll be able to squeeze the maximum amount of sea air out of your Dorset coastal break when you stay at East Fleet Farm Touring Park – this spectacular location is on the shores of the Fleet Lagoon, with views over Chesil Beach to the open sea beyond. Having sea views from the site means that you may be tempted to hang around on your pitch, put your feet up and simply take in the scenery for much of your break. And that’s not a bad idea at all – pitches are generously sized, with access to a play area and playing field for kids that may need a bit more activity. The well-stocked shop has various camping/caravan accessories and consumables, and it’s also the place to pick up a newspaper and an ice cream to take back to your camping chair. For more substantial eats, head to the on-site bar, which has an extensive food menu as well as a range of local drinks. It really is worth making the effort to get out and about locally though: there are some stunning walks on the South West Coast Path (which passes next to the site) and plenty of places to go for a bike ride. Weymouth and Dorchester are easily accessed too, as are the watersports of Portland and attractions such as Abbotsbury Swannery.

Liked Meet and greet very informative.
Location was good, close to road, local shops and pub, and close to coastal path.
Serve in pub good.

Disliked Pitch wasn’t very level at all, difficult for us as European van had to drive on ramps to get the rear high enough to be level.
Felt we were in the noisy field with children and barking dogs!
Pub was expensive for drinks.

Liked The size of ptiches. Views are amazing and its a fab location. The pub and bar are great, nice food in both. We've been many times and will very likely visit again soon.

Disliked The shower blocks are generally great but they were in a bit of a mess this trip. There was no entertainment in the barn on the Friday which was the first night of our trip so would have been nice to start our weekend.

Liked We absolutely loved every second of our stay. We had a perfect pitch with a water view that took 2 seconds to walk too. The walking trail was so peaceful. The perfect weather made it even better. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Shop has a wide range of stuff to buy. We had food in the bar each night which taste amazing.

Disliked Only thing that was wrong is that it states restaurant/cafe when we booked but this is not the case. Food is only served in the bar which doesn’t open till 5pm so had to go out for breakfast and dinner each day.

Local attractions

Can’t keep your eyes off the sea views? Pick up the South West Coast Path at the bottom end of the park, or head for favourite spots along the Jurassic Coast like West Bay (half an hour’s drive) and Lulworth Cove (35 minutes). The Isle of Portland (15 minutes) is also a great place for a walk, and it’s also got lots of watersports including windsurfing, coasteering and scuba diving. Weymouth (10 minutes) is another perennial favourite for its lovely sandy beach and attractions like the Sea Life Centre and Pirate Adventure Golf. You can also get to the town on two wheels by picking up the Weymouth Trail cycle route from the bridleway by the site (or follow the full nine-mile trail up into the hills…) Other options for days out nearby include Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens (15 minutes), Vurlands Animal Farm (20 minutes) or an arty afternoon at Sculpture By The Lakes (half an hour).
