Welcome to Guy Mallinson’s Woodland Workshop, home to ‘Crafty Camping’ in a wonderful woodland setting exclusively for adults (except for whole site bookings when children are welcome). Whether you want somewhere to stay, to come on a green woodworking course or both, visit our beautiful woodland site from January to mid December to experience a unique and unforgettably enjoyable experience. We call it Crafty Camping – luxury ‘glamping’ in a hand-crafted environment. Stay with us and our cosy bell tents and beautiful yurts, tipi and shepherds hut can be your home-from-home. You don’t have to attend a course to enjoy our wonderful ‘glamping’ facilities, which include piping hot woodland showers, a sauna yurt and a communal yurt with games and small shop selling cider, charcoal etc, while the ‘Out of Africa’ kitchen and wood fired pizza oven further help ensure a restful holiday with a difference. We offer a peaceful woodland setting in West Dorset, near to the Jurassic Coast ‘World Heritage Site’ and perfect for a short break or longer holiday. We’re close to Devon and Somerset too — so we make a great base for exploring all three counties.
