Liked Unfortunately due to a family accident altering our plans we were only able to stay one night. However, Lovely views, shop on-site, indoor and outdoor pool which we enjoyed. Cannot comment on the food/drink/entertainment as we did not get to use this part of the establishment.
Disliked By a main road which was very noisy, facilities outdated and not kept tidy by other campers/holiday makers, which was a shame.
A few thistles/weeds growing up through the pitches, parts of the site really well maintained and freshened up, but not where we were unfortunately.

Good family site
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The park is very well equipped for families with children,we met with our son and daughter in law with their young children and it was a perfect location. We used the bar area for food on 1 occasion and thought it was very good and plentiful, the grandchildren loved the pools although it is an extra cost. The site is ideally placed for Lyme Regis as the bus stop is right outside, our stay was very pleasant and would return.
Disliked The distance to shower/toilet block was a little bit far but that is being a bit picky

Liked -We had a big spacious pitch with easy access to the facilities.
- Good little shop which had a variety of stock.
- Lovely big park.
- Large outdoor pool with plenty of sun beds.
- Use of an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna.
- The young men working at the leisure centre were very helpful and chatty.
-Plenty of toilets and showers.
- Big washing up area with plenty of sinks and a large drying area.
- There was a bird trapped in the ladies toilets and someone did come and rescue it quite quickly.
- Bar and restaurant on site.
Disliked Negatives-
- On many occasions the ladies toilets by the black block were in a disgusting state. Poo (solid stools) on the floor in a few of the stalls. Majority of the toilets were blocked. Dirty knickers behind a few toilets. It was clear that baring in mind the amount of people using the toilets they weren’t cleaned or checked regularly enough.
- The drains in the showers were regularly full of hair and the floor was dirty. We did hear a member of staff say the showers were too busy so she won’t clean.
- We decided to eat in the restaurant on the last night. My friend had the chicken bucket and was very impressed by the amount of food. However I had a Caesar salad and grilled king prawns (salad was £13 and 3 prawns cost £8) and the bowl was very small. The prawns were so over cooked you couldn’t get the shells off the meat. For the price I expected a lot better. I did speak to a member of staff letting her know, was told she would speak to a manager and nothing further happened.
- It is very loud at night which obviously is down to the campers however one night there was a fight between a teenager and a parent due to bullying and someone was threatening to stab. It was incredibly loud and quite scary as we were in our tent. The next morning it surprised us to learn there was no security on site.
- Arcades are very neglected. There were no prizes in one of the machines and it just looked very sad and unloved.
- There was 1 lovely receptionist however the others we had encounters seemed quite unfriendly.

Liked Great onsite facilities, friendly staff with lovely views of hills. The walk to Charmouth beach was about 15minutes and the coastal walk to Lyme Regis was about one hour with some good hills to climb. The bus stopped outside the site making the access further a field easy.
Disliked Bus stop opposite site needs bigger pavement area for safety .....not really anything to do eith Newlands

Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and a pool
Camping pod
Liked Large territory with various accommodation options, motel, lodge, caravan or tent.
Very clean, refreshing outdoor pool at the leisure centre that was just what we needed during the heatwave. We stayed just for one night Sunday to Monday mid July and it wasn't overcrowded closer to the closing time of 6pm.
Toilet and shower blocks are in decent condition.
Breakfast at the Tow Bar was good. You get a huge pot of tea for 1 person.
Our little pod only had 1 double bed and 2 singles, you have to bring everything with you but they do warn you about it in your booking confirmation. It gets super hot during the day but was nice and cool at night with an open window.
Very late check in and early check out.
But you are allowed to use park's facilities before 3pm and after the check out at 10:30 which is great!
Nice stone beach nearby or drive to Lyme Regis Park and Drive, grab £3.50 bus to the beach and enjoy fish and chips by the sea for £12.80 each.
Disliked Nothing to say
