  • Spacious grass pitches in the grounds of a traditional Dorset pub
  • Monkey World, Corfe Castle and Tank Museum 20 minutes' drive
  • Pub with garden, play area and freshly cooked seasonal meals
Picking a pitch in the grounds of a pub is often a fine idea – it means easy access to a decent meal and the opportunity to finish your day with a nice drink or two (and no worries about having to drive anywhere). All of the above is certainly true when you stay at the campsite by The World’s End – this traditional Dorset country pub is a characterful place that serves up top-notch meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) made of fresh seasonal ingredients, and it’s got a great range of local beers, ciders and wines to pick from. You'll be able to enjoy all these offerings inside the historic interior or out in the fresh air at the garden and patio area, which has a stream and pond as well as a play area to keep the kids busy while they wait for their meals (or while you relax with a well-earned drink). And how will you 'earn' that drink? Well, this is a very well located site, just off the A31 near Winterborne Zelston, so you’ll be within easy reach of all sorts of ways to fill your days, from walks in the Cranborne Chase National Landscape or along the Jurassic Coast to family attractions like Monkey World and Farmer Palmer's Farm Park. Back on site, there’s plenty of space to relax on large grass pitches with patches of shade from the trees, and access to handy facilities including wifi, toilets, showers and picnic tables. Dogs are welcome and have a space where they can have a good run around.

Primitive gravel RV campsite

Liked: The staff are lovely at the pub, extremely welcoming & keen to accommodate. Great food, great service. The showers are probably the best I've ever experienced at a campsite. Both showers & toilets were always clean.

Disliked: If you're staying in a campervan, the A31 is almost right next to the car park & it's very loud, you can hear everything. It's a busy road used by lorries so it might keep you awake, but you sort of get used to it. Also, phone signal in the entire area is almost non-existent & the pub WiFi doesn't extend to the car park.

Primitive gravel RV campsite

Liked: Location perfectly suited as an overnight pit-stop.
Love the hedged-off pitches, just the right amount of privacy.
The fairy lights give a festival feel and clearly mark the area designated to campervans, a nice touch.
Best suprise was our evening meal, busy on a Sat evening so suggest booking, the food surprisingly good, fish and chips nicest I've had in a while - large portions, fresh and friendly service.
The toilets and showers are clean and the water hot, all round really good value for money and would certainly go again.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite

Liked: We have nothing to not like while staying here. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect and there was plenty of parking. Plus, the facilities (showers and bathroom) were very modern and clean which a majority of campsites do not have. Would definitely recommend, nothing to fault at all.
