Excellent site for the basics, with incredible views.
Primitive grass tent campsite (wild)
Liked Incredible views of the coast over the hills of the coast - the best sunset I can remember seeing in England.
Hosts came to say hi on arrival and offered a firepit for rent.
Easy access from road, and can access the South West Coast Path via a (quite overgrown) path across the roman hill Fort, accessible directly from the farm.
Very clean and well maintained basic toilet facilities.

Country solitude with coastal views

Liked Our experience at Berry's Ground Lane was awesome. We were the only tent in the field and had a great view towards Heddon Mouth. The weather was clear, hot and windless and we had an amazing evening watching the sun go down and the full moon rising. We used one of the fire pits and purchased a bundle of firewood and kindling and were rewarded with more than enough logs for a full evening's campfire. After the cows and sheep in the neighborhood fields went to sleep, we had a completely silent night's sleep. The compost facilities and water point were easy to find and well cared for. We would definitely return again!
Disliked Everything was amazing!

True back to nature site with the added bonus of clean compost loos
Primitive grass RV campsite (wild)
Liked We booked very last minute as we usually do. Katie was very helpful and quick to respond and promptly set us up with a pitch for the night.
The site has wonderful sea views with beautiful sunsets. There was no noise other than birdsong to wake up to. Even the lack of a signal on our phones (probably our provider) was a blessing and we felt we could relax and enjoy an evening by a fire pit and forget the outside world. We won’t hesitate to return.
