What customers say
Great family spot with tons of activities, pools, and amenities. Staff are friendly. Facilities generally clean but dated. Pitches can be uneven gravel. Good value & location, but pool booking and extra costs were drawbacks for some.

Lovely site with all amenities and plenty to do for everyone
FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely site with plenty to do and close to beaches. Clean facilities and flat pitches with all amenities close by
Disliked Very confusing with the directions from reception to the pitch. Would have been helpful if they could have escorted us there however the gentleman on reception was very cheerful and pleasant

From the manager: Thanks for the lovely review Maria! We're glad you enjoyed the site, facilities, and location.
Sorry for the confusion finding your pitch — we’ll look into making directions clearer. Great to hear our reception team made a cheerful impression!
Hope to see you again soon. 🏖️
Exelent park would go again kids love it
FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Loads of space, toilets shower close by, loads of entertainment
Disliked Cars kick up dust of the Gravel when dry ,have to pay extra for WiFi and you need it down there

Don't think I'd stay again, just used it as a base to go out from.
FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Short distance by car to the beach,
Decent sized pitch down the bottom.
Bowling was great.shop was well stocked.
Disliked Bins were overflowing, elsan point was blocked on several occasions. Toilet block always out of loo roll. Indoor pool water was murky. Sloping pitch, children kept toppling off their chairs. Paid for wifi but it didn't work. Very slow at the entertainment bar to be served.

From the manager: Thanks for your feedback — great to hear you enjoyed the beach access, spacious pitch, bowling, and well-stocked shop. We’re sorry about the issues with bins, elsan point, toilet roll, murky pool water, sloping pitch, WiFi, and slow bar service. Your comments are noted and will help us improve.
We hope to welcome you back for a better experience next time.
Too dirty , won’t be staying again

Liked Really liked the bar, the swimming pool(the it was warm), arcades and bowling
Disliked Cleanliness of the site, the bins went emptied the whole we were there and rubbish was smiling out of the bins, which in turn causes a major seagull problem, the pitches weren’t very clean with old cigarette butts every where which as a non smoker I dont, want to see, the hard standing was really hard and bend so many pegs putting up the awning, need to tell people to bring a proper hammer to put pegs in, need to enforce speed limit as cars were flying around all the time and didn’t feel save with my children out of site, staff need to ensure all visitors stick to noise rules if there are any. Was 11-11.30
Most nights people drunk shouting things between caravans, at times felt like a traveller site, was hard work getting a 6 and 8 year old to sleep

Great Family Site (Not for quiet getaways!)
Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Lots of on site activities and a good set of amenities. Absolutely brilliant for families with a choice of swimming pools, arcade, entertainment etc.
Food was good, priced as you'd expect and the on site shop (Nisa) was reasonable too.
Nice that the site is very dog friendly.
Even though it was very busy when we visited it didnt feel rammed and we could always find somewhere quieter to sit/eat etc
EHU points were close and water and waste nearby. Pitches well serviced.
Good location if you want to go out and explore the area.
There's a bus down to the beach otherwise you're looking at £14 for a day parking (£7 if you just do the morning) Don't try to walk from the site to the beach, you will get squashed on the main road!
Disliked This is a very family focused site and we went in the school holidays (met family there) so the negatives will mostly reflect this, please bear this in mind!
Pitches are a good size but absolutely crammed in on the site. Any spare space is a pitch.
Gravel hardstand pitches are pretty much a car park. Some of the pitches further away from the amenities have some planting, but they are also closer to the plastic chair graveyard/dumping area and much further from the shop, pool etc.
The lodges are far nicer laid out but also incredibly expensive.
Shower block fine, but be aware that the showers are push button and the button gives approx 3 seconds of water. You need to hold it in continuously to shower. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues (I do not know if they have a disabled shower)
The pub at the bottom of the site is nice but it is still part of the site so the menus are very similar. Don't assume this is a better/posher experience. It does have a play park and outside seating.
Wasps! The site could do with investing in some fake hives to keep the wasps away, they were a complete pest.
Seagulls! The site could do with some 'don't feed the seagulls' signs. People were and thats not a good thing.
Noise. The main entertainment ends quite early so you will get a relatively peaceful night, but this is a family site and we found it quite a noisy site because of this.
General site etiquette and other guests - if you're used to little local sites or adult only sites this place probably isn't for you. But if you want lots for kids to do whilst you chill out at the pool or watch TV in your tent then it's going to be spot on.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your detailed review. We're delighted you enjoyed the wide range of amenities and activities, and found the site well-equipped for both families and furry companions. It's great to hear that, even during peak season, you were able to find quieter spots to relax.
We appreciate your constructive feedback about the pitch layout, showers, and general site atmosphere during school holidays. Your insights are really helpful as we continue improving the experience for all guests. We'll definitely take the wasp and seagull suggestions onboard too.
Thanks again for sharing your experience — we’re glad you found plenty to enjoy, and we hope to welcome you back in future, perhaps outside the busier season.

Excellent clean site
FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked As in a nice quiet pitch in the park everything worked fine even got WiFi on the pitch. Toilet and shower blocks were extremely clean and all staff were very helpful there was something to do for everyone
Disliked We only got 1 hour in the outside swimming which by the time you sit down and set up it’s time to go again but nothing major
Recommend to friends Visit again
