What customers say
This peaceful campsite offers a stunning, secluded spot with lots of space and direct river access. Guests love the clean, well-priced facilities, including great restrooms and fresh water. It's perfect for wildlife and stargazing. The narrow entrance bridge is manageable for most. A favorite for a wild camping getaway!

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We liked the “off grid” feel, it’s a lovely field next to a river so all night we had wonderful water noises and various animals like owls and other birds. The field is in a small valley so you really feel enclosed from the outside world, while still only being 15 ish minutes from Plymouth outskirts.
Very nice will be coming back.
Disliked Not really a dislike but the sat nav will did take us down some … off the beaten track roads when there’s a perfectly good road going last the entrance, easy to drive past.

Amazing little find.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The big open space, it was absolutely gorgeous and we loved the river that ran on the side of the field, made sleeping so cosy with the sound of the water! The bridge to get into the field is narrow but we only have a small car anyway so was not an issue! Myself and my partner took our dog with us, he’s a rescue so can get overwhelmed with everyday life. To see him unbothered with lots of space was amazing. A weekend well spent! We will 100% be staying again!
Disliked Could not fault it!
