What customers say
Super clean site, modern showers with hairdryers/freezers. Great location for walking to Croyde village/beach. Friendly staff. Mostly peaceful, though some noted traffic noise. Minor issues: occasional facility queues, wish for warmer showers.

Power optional grass campervan or trailer tent campsite (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Stu was fantastic, we arrived early and he allowed us to pitch up early.
He was so accommodating and as this was our first ever camping trip he was so helpful.
Facilities were always clean and close to our pitch, which was great. Its a quick ten minute walk to the beach. The village is only a 5 min walk away for any entertainment. We will definitely be booking again.

Level pitches with a view.
Power optional grass tent campsite
Liked This is a lovely friendly, family run campsite. The pitches were of a good size and nicely organised by staggering them on a hill. They were level and we had a great view of the countryside from our pitch. The facilities were great; they were always clean and tidy and there were nice touches like hair dryers and straighteners so that you can pack a bit lighter. I also liked that the well maintained wash up area which had washing up bowls and washing up liquid dispensers. This was great as we forgot ours!
Location was perfect with a 10 minute walk to the beach and a few minutes into Croyde. While staying we enjoyed horse riding at Woolacombe riding stables; a surfing lesson with Surf South West and a nice meal at The Thatch in the village. We had a beautiful walk along the coastal path which is great for walking and running.
The campsite was really quiet most of the time.
Disliked Nothing to dislike about this site. The pitchup site didn't make it clear that electric hook up was added or how to add this when booking. This meant that I had an extra fee to pay when I arrived that I wasn't expecting. This is an issue with the pitch up website rather than the campsite.

From the manager: Hi and thanks so much for the 10 out of 10 review.
I will raise the issue again with Pitchup.
We do have new lockable showers with a bench, hooks, and room to change in complete privacy. They are accessed through the washup area, near the entrance to the ladies. I am sorry you didn't know that they were there, they are new and popular. Stu.
We had a great stay, but very conflicted whether we would return.
Power optional grass tent campsite
Liked Beautiful views of the surrounding fields. The shower block was just fantastic. Modern and clean. Plenty of room for showers and washing up facilities. Also really appreciated the little basket of toiletries and hairdryers/straightener's in the women’s - really nice touch. Our pitch was also pretty level.
Disliked Wish I had read more depth on the owner of this facility. Although we didn’t have an overly bad experience of him - he did come across unfriendly and intimidating. Really disliked the rule of no music. I appreciate his rules and some people prefer it - but majority vote for me would be that camping and music go hand in hand. So we really noticed that missing on our trip. The rule was far too strict and should be changed to time limitations - not during the day when everyone is off at the beach so wouldn’t have harmed anyone having a background radio on. I’m unsure what scene the owner is trying to achieve considering the ‘no noise at all’ rule doesn’t rule out noisy children.

From the manager: Dear Miss Hake,
I hope you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed your time with us. It was a pleasure interacting with you, and I truly appreciate your kind remarks about our campsite and facilities.
I just wanted to gently clarify our policy regarding music. We have a no-music rule at all times, which is something we communicate clearly to ensure everyone can enjoy a peaceful environment. Most of our guests respect this, and it’s a big part of why many choose to return season after season.
We understand that everyone has their own preferences, and we’re always happy to accommodate most needs. If some guests prefer louder entertainment, there are plenty of other wonderful campsites around Croyde where that’s more the vibe.
Thank you again for your visit and for sharing your feedback. It means a lot to us, and I hope to welcome you back again soon!
Kindest regards,
Stu
Convenient site between village and beach. Large level pitch clean
Power optional grass campervan or trailer tent campsite (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Large pitch with space for awning, and to sit and have dryer for wetsuits. Walking past other sites in Croyde they appeared more crowded and more sloping. Very clean.
Disliked Outside shower was not “hot” as promised but well used non the less. Great to get sand off feet and wetsuits after walk back from beach.

Great positioning in Croyde, clean new facilities.
Power optional grass campervan or trailer tent campsite (maximum 6 metres)
Liked Very friendly welcome onto site on arrival, nicely positioned for ease of walk into Croyde and also to the beach. Facilities were modern, new and well maintained, good size pitches which were level.
Disliked Little noisey from traffic first thing in the morning and people walking back to other campsites at night. (Not from this site though)

The manager was really friendly, site was clean & great facilities.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The location of the site is great, the facilities are really well done, big shower areas and dressing room area in the ladies, lovely washing up area, freezers are a great touch for BBQ essentials or ice packs. Drying area for wetsuits also. Site is compact but well maintained. Great recycling area, WIFI, charging areas & coffee on site! Site was kept exceptionally clean at all times.
Disliked Disruptive/rude family staying next to us, was reported to reception and feedback was very well accepted.
Would love to see a shelf above the sinks in the ladies loos to put our tooth brushes, make up bags on rather than on the sink

Great park with great facilities and perfect for the beach.
Power optional grass campervan, trailer tent or tent campsite
Liked It is a great park and we will be back as soon as possible. The park and ablutions were always clean and neat and well stocked. There were always showers and toilets and sinks available. The best part was the close proximity to the beach and town. We absolutely loved our holiday. We even had visits from the bunny's in the morning and evening.
Disliked We struggled with the wasps. They were quite a nuisance. This has nothing to do with the park itself and nothing that they can control. I am not sure if it's an issue in the area.

From the manager: Dear Charlotte. Thank you for your stay. I've noticed a few wasps at the bins this week. Must be the weather. See you soon. Stu.
