  • Family-friendly park within walking distance of Sennen Cove
  • A mile from Land's End with many spectacular beaches nearby
  • Outdoor pool, crazy golf and play area
Have you ever had the sand between your toes at Cornwall's spectacular Sennen Cove? If not, sort your next south-west holiday here forthwith, for this is one of the most beaut beaches in Cornwall (and that's surely saying something). Set within a mile's walk of the cove is Seaview Holiday Park, a family-friendly site well placed for exploring yet more beaut beaches as well as top Cornish attractions like St Ives, St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre. The site's terraced layout allows for separate areas for families and couples or single travellers, all with stunning views towards the south coast. And it's not just the outlook that's stunning – fix your gaze closer and you'll note an excellent collection of facilities on site, too. For days when that 20-minute stroll to the beach just seems way too much, there's an outdoor pool for swims and sunbathing, and you'll also have games of crazy golf to play. Families have no need to fear the heavens opening either, as nippers can be entertained at the play area. Amenities include toilet blocks, showers, drinking water and electrical points, chemical disposal and a launderette.

What customers say

This campsite has a great location near Lands End and Sennen Cove, with friendly staff. Facilities are mostly clean, with guests praising the pool and bar/restaurant. While some found it peaceful with neat pitches, others noted outdated areas and some cleanliness issues in restrooms. It's good value and a convenient base for exploring.

Liked Leaving to explore the area and leaving at end of stay

Disliked Toilets and showers looked and smelt like they need to be condemned. No toilet paper for 2 days. Wifi doesn't work past reception. Kids constantly kicking balls at my van and screaming... there should be no football allowed near the pitches. The park area run down. Stayed at cleaner festivals! Don't come here, poorly managed.

Liked Great scenery. Friendly staff. Good stop off for Lands End and Sennan beach.

Disliked Our pitch was a grass pitch which was fine but really difficult to level up the motorhome because it was that uneven. 2 different shower blocks, 1 is ok the other really isn’t!

Camping pod (three person)

Liked We absolutely loved our stay in the pink pod. It had everything we needed and it was very clean on arrival. We loved the outdoor swimming pool and spent a lot of time there, it was great to spend the day by the pool and it was clean and well kept. It was great having our own WiFi in the pod too!
The staff were all really friendly and we especially enjoyed TJ's it served amazing food and it was a lovely spot to spend an evening. The owner was so friendly and welcoming always asking greeting us with a smile and asking us about our day.
Other reviews mention the lack of toilet roll and hand towels in the toilet blocks, however I spoke to reception about this during my stay, and they said they are looking at ways to prevent people emptying the supply as soon as the cleaners restock. We actually saw someone leave the toilet block with atleast 3 rolls stuffed in their pockets at one point! So it is the guests taking them and not the fact they aren't being replenished throughout the day.
Overall, a great week away by the sea at a lovely site.

Primitive grass campsite (large)

Liked Good location, good facilities (swimming pool, table tennis, golf)

Disliked Lack of toilet paper and hand towels in the toilets.

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We're really pleased to hear you enjoyed the location and facilities—and that you'd recommend us to friends and visit again!

Regarding the toilet paper and hand towels, we do top up supplies at least five times a day. However, we’ve noticed that some guests do take items back to their tents, which can make it seem like stocks are low. We're looking into ways to improve this and ensure availability throughout the day.

Your feedback is genuinely appreciated—it helps us keep refining the guest experience. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked The staff were amazing, very helpful and hospitable.

The campsite has a lovely little swimming pool and children’s indoor play area

Disliked This is more constructive and did not affect my stay at all.

The showers and toilet blocks could have more attention thrown at them, kept running out of toilet roll.

I think the indoor play area and pool could be kept open longer, families are out most of the day so when they come back in past 5 the kids can’t do anything.

None the less, none of this would stop me from returning

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear that our team made a great impression and that you enjoyed the swimming pool and indoor play area. It means a lot to know you'd return despite a few constructive points—your feedback helps us grow.

Regarding the pool hours, you're absolutely right that families often return later in the day. Our team is only on-site until 5:30pm, so for safety reasons, we do need to close the pool at that time 5pm. We’re actively exploring ways to extend access in future seasons while keeping everyone safe.

We also appreciate your comments about the toilet blocks. We do restock regularly, but supplies are being taken by guest back to the tents, we’ll revisit our schedule to ensure supplies are more consistent throughout the day.

Thanks again for your kind words and helpful suggestions—we look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked tent pitches are separated by plants/bush so that you have got a bit more privacy; you can see the Land's End fireworks (Tuesday/Wednesday in July/August) from the park entry

Disliked only 2 shower/toilet blocks and sinks (for washing the dishes) in the whole park and not all the showers were in use, so the facilities weren't very clean and well-maintained (eg toilet paper run out in the evening and wasn't refilled until the next morning 9am); long distances to go from some tent pitches; no wifi available

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Facilities, comfort, showers, weather on arrival! Flat pitch, friendly neighbours, great service at TJs cafe, efficient signage in email and onsite. Also water stations. All really great things when you arrive exhausted!

Disliked No toilet roll or hand towels overnight in toilets.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you so much for your thoughtful review—we’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the facilities, comfort, and especially the warm welcome from our team and neighbours. It’s lovely to know that the signage and water stations helped make your arrival smoother after a long journey!

We really appreciate your note about the overnight toilet supplies. While we do restock regularly during the day, we’re reviewing our overnight checks to see how we can improve consistency and ensure guests have what they need at all hours.

It’s wonderful to hear you’d recommend us and visit again. We look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing stay!

Powered grass travel trailer campsite (large)

Liked We booked a full week at Seaview Holiday Park in our camper van, which we arranged 6 months ago and had been so excited to finally go. As seasoned campers, we were really looking forward to our stay — especially since the park was advertised with great features like mini golf, a children's play area, and a swimming pool. The location looked promising online.
However, we were deeply disappointed on arrival.

Disliked The site is scruffy and extremely dated. My children were excited to try out the play park, but came back upset, saying the equipment was broken. I went to check it out myself and was shocked — it was dirty, poorly maintained, and a lot of the equipment was unsafe or unusable. We hoped the pool would be better, but it looked dirty too, so we didn’t feel comfortable using it.
Our pitch was also a let-down. It was so uneven that we couldn’t level the van properly, even using chocks — which was frustrating, as the landscaping around that pitch was actually quite pleasant.
The toilets were in a terrible state — very dirty and unhygienic. When I took my children to them, two men walked out covered in blood. I have no idea what had happened, but it was extremely unsettling. On top of that, there were several aggressive dogs on site, and we didn’t feel safe.
That night, there was shouting and screaming across the site. Someone was yelling obscenities well into the night, which really upset our children. It didn’t feel like a safe environment for a family.
We made the decision to leave the next morning, having only stayed one night out of our week-long booking. I contacted the park to request a refund, and they told me they’d be back in touch — but it’s now been over two weeks, and I’ve heard nothing despite following up.
Sadly, I can’t recommend Seaview Holiday Park. We had high hopes, but the experience left us very disappointed, uncomfortable

Local attractions

Smashing Sennen Cove is one of the most famed beaches in Cornwall, for its spectacular setting as well as its surfing. Shops, pubs and artsy galleries are around the harbour; if you're feeling energetic, climb the Pedn-men-du promontory from here or hike the 11.7 mile section of the South West Coast Path from Sennen Cove to Lamorna. The Land's End Visitor Centre is also within a mile of Seaview (a pic taken at the famed Land's End signpost is obligatory) and if you're up for teeing off in spectacular surrounds, Cape Cornwall Golf Club is within five miles. Of a summer evening, pootle along to a show at the clifftop Minack Theatre, a three-mile drive away, or have a tour of it all at any time of year. A couple of mighty famed must-sees are within driving distance: the tiny tidal island of St Michael's Mount 12 miles away, which you can walk to at low tide or take the boat when the waves are in, and the pretty arty town of St Ives 15 miles from base, home to Tate St Ives. Kids will be in heaven at Paradise Park (20 miles), The Flambards Experience (25 miles), Poldark Mine (25 miles) and the National Seal Sanctuary (30 miles); further afield but well worth the trip is the lush Eden Project, 55 miles away.
