Liked Good facilities and great location. Being so close to the airport wasn’t an issue, enjoyed watching the planes takeoff etc.
I had a good phone signal so was able to watch TV on my iPad in the evening. It was quiet in the evening and I was able to walk the dog around the fishing lake.
Disliked I was slightly confused when I arrived as It seemed as though most people in the field I was in actually lived there and not short term stays. Was the same on the opposite side of the field as many had fencing/decking etc. Was told to park anywhere on the right but it felt quite awkward and I struggled to find somewhere I felt comfortable parking. There wasn’t a lot of room without encroaching on the motorhomes/caravans that had obviously set up home there.
Probably wouldn’t return

Liked I had a lovely stay at Penvose campsite. The location is great for visiting Newquay and surrounding seaside villages in Cornwall.
The weather was wet and windy but the warm showers were perfect for this.
I had no issues with the airport being so near, it was awesome seeing them take off and land so close by.
I would recommend this to my friends and would most definitely stay here again.
Disliked The only issues I had were the cleanliness of the toilet/shower block.
There was also meant to be a pizza/jacket potato van on Friday and Saturday nights but we never saw them which was a shame- this may have been due to our stay in off-season.

Disliked The campsite is right next to the Airport. It didn't really bother us as up with kids in the morning etc. but worth knowing.
Showers are OK, but very scaled up so water was a bit wild!

Liked Location was perfect for Newquay and surrounding areas. Great farm shop on site. Fire pits and bbq allowed. Lots of space and all campers were considerate.
We chose to camp next to the airport runway (it is not a busy airport, only a handful of flights a day at reasonable times). The children absolutely loved watching the planes take off and land.
Disliked The facilities could do with updating.

Liked Friendly staff. Super walks around lakes. The unusual setting next to Newquay Airport- quite exciting. Huge camping fields to choose pitch location .
Disliked The showers were a bit misdirected & didn't flow properly but they were a great temperature.

Liked I loved it fantastic fishing lakes and good washroom facilities and I enjoyed watching the planes going backwards and forwards from Newquay Airport.and the people at the farm were very friendly and helpful will definitely stay again.
