What customers say
This eco-friendly campground offers a peaceful, nature-focused setting with on-site animals & a scenic canal walk to Bude. Guests love the friendly owner and relaxed vibe. Basic but functional facilities suit many, though some wanted more attention to them, and pitches can be sloped. Most would return for the location & atmosphere.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked The location of cerenity is lovely. Quiet, calm, idyllic setting but close enough for a quick jaunt to bude for beaches and food.
Disliked I visited Cerenity probably about 10 years ago. It was thriving - it had a cafe serving breakfast, the heart of the campsite was
a veg garden and fields of animals with a group of lwork away type folk helping out. Fast forward to today and it’s sadly feeling quite run down. The owner was lovely and clearly working very hard to maintain it but the facilities all needed quite a bit of TLC and the extras that made this place so special - little cafe and gardens - were not there any more.
I would still stay at cerenity but I being honest I don’t think it was worth the higher price for a basic offering now. I was surprised for £50 a night we didn’t even get loo roll - both for the price and for the ‘eco’ ethos, surely you’d want to manage the type of paper used in an eco system? Anyway, I would love to love this place more but was slightly disappointed after seeing what once was.

Would definitely stay again.
Primitive grass tent campsite (four person)
Liked Fantastic location, great communication, well organised. Very pretty, quiet site, great facilities.
Lots of lovely little touches, love the paintings in the showers. (Which work very well) And the walk past the pony’s to the wooded area is just lovely.
Quite a few different groups here, all respectful of each other, very nice relaxed & peaceful atmosphere.
Everything I’d expect from an Eco site and more. 🩷
Disliked Leaving 😭

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Eco ethos. charging point for power packs and devices. Warm shower in the morning
Picnic tables. Fire pits to rent.
Disliked Uneven fields. Difficult to get even pitch. Facilities a little run down. Blocked sink.
Ran out of sawdust for the eco toilet one day. Difficult turning into site as overgrown bushes at entrance.

Liked Friendly host, functional compost loos (bring your own loo paper) quiet, nice views.
Disliked The access to the site is tight, but doable, site aesthetics not quite as the photos depict

A good value off grid site. A little taste of the countryside.
Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked This is such a lovely peaceful site. It is so relaxing. There's plenty of room to pitch without being too close to neighbours. Picnic benches are provided, which is a really nice touch.
The shower block is quirky and interesting, with composting toilets and solar powered showers.
There's a charger for phones.
Everything you need really for an off grid campsite.
It's accessible to Bude by foot along the canal and through the marshes. It's a lovely walk.
Disliked This is not really a dislike, but the access lane is quite narrow.
