Beautiful area for no frills camping which was perfect for us.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Very friendly welcome. Large grassy pitches in a fabulous location. Clean facilities and plenty of water and electricity points. Fabulous farm shop within walking distance and easy to access Boscastle and Bude from here.
Disliked Despite rules around dogs being on leads this wasn’t always adhered to by campers resulting in dog poo being left on the site. Hikers do use the facilities so you need to take care of your belongings when in that area.

Would love to go again!
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely open views across hills to the coast. Very good showers and toilet block. Owner welcoming and regularly around if requied. Very large open field (we chose non electric). Gently sloping. It was very hot during our stay, so chose the valley walk to Boscastle so the dog could keep cool under the trees and in the water, to visit one of the many tea rooms, before a swim at he harbour and a coastal path walk back to the site. Bus conveniently will stop just outside the site.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Beautiful views, coastal path walks on the doorstep and farm shop just down the road. Showers and toilets spacious and clean. Lovely working farm. Love that you get to pick your spot in the non electric camping field and bbq and campfires allowed.
This is a working farm, so expect animal noises day and night (we found this very entertaining).

Happy relaxing place
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Fantastically friendly, happy and helpful staff, amazing views and pitches, coupled with spotlessly clean facilities make this one of my favourite campsites in a very long time….
Disliked The only slight downside was that walking on the road from the campsite to the farm shop or into Boscastle was not very pleasant… Too much traffic, & too fast with few places to step off the road … of course none of this is the site owner’s responsibility, and they did give us a printed info of three ways to get to Boscastle by foot, as well as a bus timetable that passed the site fairly frequently.
