Primitive grass campsite
Liked Quiet, easy place to set up at, not too far away from local amenities.
Disliked Showers weren't the warmest.
From the manager: Thank you Nathan for your review
I glad you have enjoyed your stay
Only if you would of talk to me about the shower I would of told you to go into were the sink is and you can adjust the temperature to suit yourself it's generally on around 48 degrees or it can go up to 60 or down to 30 .lol
Hope to see you soon

Lovely site, quiet, spacious, clean loos and showers, friendly owner.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Peaceful, relaxed, plenty of space, great for birdwatchers and nature lovers. The portaloos were spotless (cleaned twice a day) and well equipped with loo roll, hand wash, air freshener etc and the showers were great too. Lovely, friendly owner and campsite cat!

Great place for a stopover. Decent views and facilities.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked open field, pitch where appropriate, Showers surprisingly clean and functional.
Very quiet, remote location.
Disliked Portaloos ( but better than no portaloos at all!).
Field slightly rolling, but levelling can be achieved with standard blocks.
Single track road access, problematic for larger MoHo's.
From the manager: Thank you Paul for your review

Hope to see your family soon

Good value for money - basic
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Great value for money. Warm showers and acceptable toilets (portaloo’s around the wide). Just basic camping
Disliked On a hill so can be difficult to position sleeping correctly. Portaloo’s aren’t the nicest but they could of been worse
From the manager: Thank you Micheal for your review

It’s basic but beautiful, quiet, friendly and relaxing. Perfect.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked It was incredibly peaceful. Virtually no traffic on the nearby lane, it was very quiet and just relaxing. Plenty of space to separate yourself from the other campers. Toilets are portaloo’s, but they were clean and as pleasant as they can be.
No set kick-out time which makes your final day relaxing and stress free.
We didn’t use the showers, but they looked fine from the outside.
The owner was friendly and very much had the mindset of ‘camping should be fun’ so doesn’t have lots of restricting rules.
We will certainly be staying here again!
Phone signal (O2 and Three) exists BUT not at any great speed.
Disliked The only slight negative is that a large amount of the field is on a slope, and we don't (yet) have levelling ramps for our camper. We will be adding them shortly, and that won’t be an issue anymore!
From the manager: Thank you Anthony for your review
