Liked: A child-free site with just a few pitches, Stone Pit meadows is the perfect location for a peaceful break. Everything has been really carefully thought through and it shows. The wildflower meadow and wildlife ponds offer great opportunities for nature lovers (we saw a kingfisher!) and the walk through the vineyards and woodland on forest is great for stretching your legs after a night in a tent.

Liked: We loved absolutely everything about this site. The welcome was warm and it from there it only got better: a truly beautiful wild-swimming pond; impeccable facilities; extras and incidentals everywhere (right down to the marshmallows and cool box)- it was genuinely faultless. We can't wait to go back!
Disliked: There was nothing at all to dislike!

1 bedroom shepherd's hut (no pets, ensuite)
Liked: We had the most peaceful relaxing weekend staying in one of the stunning shepherds huts at Stone Pit Meadows. The hut was beautifully decorated and we were very well accommodated. Nicola the host was so friendly and welcoming, she arranged for a birthday balloon as requested and even added a bowl of local cherries and a slice of cake with a candle which was a lovely suprise. We enjoyed some nice country walks and sitting by the fire pit toasting marshmellows that were also provided. Would definitely book again and highly recommend! Thanks for a great weekend Stone Pit Meadows!
