  • Luxury glamping site with lovely views over Kent countryside
  • A 10-minute drive from the coast; 20 minutes from Canterbury
  • Bell tents with kingsize bed, woodburner and firepit provided
Off to Kent for a bit of countryside, a bit of coast time and a bit of city wandering… and a comfy place to stay in among it all? Book a berth in one of the bell tents at Chitty Chitty Glamping, in the village of Chislet and well located for outings all around this fab part of the country. You can expect a warm welcome at this friendly site – and a generous serving of luxury while you’re here too. Each of the five-metre tents has been prettily furnished, with a proper kingsize bed and a woodburning stove to make sure you’re comfy and cosy during your stay. A fully-equipped separate kitchenette is provided too, with a single gas hob, a fridge and all the pots, pans, crockery and utensils you need to create your dinner. Or maybe you’d like to do dinner out in the fresh air? If so, settle on the private patio and stoke up the barbecue/firepit while gazing out over the stunning scenery of the surrounding area. If that gets you in the mood to see a bit more of the local area, have a chat with your hosts for tips on the best places to get out for walks and bike rides (and the best pubs to refresh at along the way…) Mix your countryside time up with jaunts to the coast (about 10 minutes’ drive away) and outings to the historic city of Canterbury (20 minutes) – or fully embrace your rural setting by settling down on site to see if you can spot some of the resident barn owls, marsh harriers kingfishers, woodpeckers, swans, hedgehogs…
