What customers say
This is a clean, friendly, and peaceful campsite offering good value. Visitors praise the welcoming staff, spacious pitches, and ample room for children to play. Facilities are generally clean, though some reviews mention they are dated and the shower stalls are small. Good location for exploring local areas. Some guests experienced noise from other campers.

All in all, a good experience, would definitely stay again.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Facilities were fairly basic but clean and tidy. Friendly staff.Last minute one night booking, so very happy to get a place. Arrived out of hours, but someone soon appeared to show us where to pitch and the available facilities. Summer hols so expected some excited children playing late but site very quickly quietened down after 9 pm.
Disliked A few dogs off lead on arrival, which had my dog travelled with me I would not have been happy about.

A good plot with good facilities, all kept tidy by friendly staff.

Liked We had a lovely two night stay with our son and grandkids. They made lots of friends at the helicopter play park. This gave us a chance for some r&r.
We were met upon arrival and taken to our pitch and checked upon daily to ensure we were ok which was nice. A first for us was a picnic bench, that was lovely to cook and eat at.Plenty of space for us to try out our new driveaway awning which was a great addition. Thankfully we got it down just before the rain on leaving.
The site was just what we needed, a good plot with toilets, showers and washing up facilities when needed, all kept tidy.
Thank you to our hosts too.

Liked Loved the site, very lovely and clean, site owners jane and jo were absolutely lovely and came to check everything was ok during our stay. All the facilities were clean and tidy. Overall we loved our stay.
Disliked Only thing I would like to see would be a little onsite shop maybe. Nothing big, just something with the essentials

Liked Site was very family orientated and
had a football pitch with goal posts and a small park.
logs bought from the owner with free use of a fire pit were a bonus and the kids loved our nightly bonfire.
Grass was well maintained.
Disliked Lots of dogs being exercised off lead on children’s play area.
Access to toilet block is NOT disabled
friendly. The ramp is far too steep to accommodate an electric chair and no way could you push a manual chair up the ramp.
Pitches very close on a very busy site during school holidays.

Nice site with friendly staff, great for a weekend away.

Liked Friendly and approachable staff, great customer care, always easy to talk to, and checking on wellbeing, going above and beyond for us!
Very clear pitch markings with plenty of space. Close hookup for electricity.
Hot water for showers and washing up, and dish soap available!
Very close drive to next town and beaches, also able to walk (although some is main road side).
Clear signage into the park but not clear where the reception is.
Convenient bus to and from Sheerness for easy travel
Disliked No freezer for ice blocks available.
Steep slope with handrail into the toilet block with a step, not super accessible.
Shower pressure lower than expected but made up for with very hot water.
Some noisy neighbours but no fault of the site team.
Very close drive to next town and beaches, also able to walk (although some is main road side).
Clear signage into the park but not clear where the reception is.
