What customers say
Peaceful, spacious site with beautiful rural views. Guests rave about clean restrooms, friendly hosts, and quiet vibe. Near a village pub, with amazing night skies. Access road can be bumpy; signage is minimal, but owners give directions. River is for viewing only. Great for a relaxing country escape.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Fantastic spot. Lots of space for campers and by the river. Toilet facilities very clean, and next to a sink to wash dishes with drinking water. We travelled via train from London and it was very easy to walk to the site. Would highly recommend!

Liked Greeted by the most lovely and helpful host. We had a gorgeous spot by the river, saw a beautiful sunset and even a barn owl! Clean toilets, easy to find once spoken to host and extremely tranquil. We will definitely be returning

Peaceful stay
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Toilets were great, host was lovely and came over to check we were all okay. Site is massive, and felt peaceful. Is on a Gatwick flight path so do get some low planes now and then but not majorly bothersome. No showers but this is listed.
Cannot access the river to swim / paddle board etc. Can stand alongside but there are signs saying no swimming.
Disliked Water pipe in the sun, so drinking water was warm (very first world problem, but in a heatwave it wasn’t pleasant). Ground could do with some TLC, lots of spikey bits. Hard to find, called the campsite owner and was navigated to a blue drum with a wellie on. Some prior navigation info or a sign would be good, as no signs from the road.

Liked Lovely campsite very peaceful quiet and huge space so no close neighbours which was lovely, felt like having your own space properly! The toilets were amazing for a simple campsite, lovely and clean along with a cricket set and frisbee to borrow which was great. Overall amazing experience would recommend!!!!
