What customers say
This campsite is lauded for its peaceful vibe, generous space, and super friendly owners. It's a great launchpad for exploring the area, with easy access to Deal and cycling paths. Most guests found the facilities clean and tidy, though some noted a lack of toilets/showers during peak times and an odd washing-up area setup. Hook-ups and pitch assignments occasionally caused minor confusion.

Great site. Recommended.
North field powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Really nice site set among several pretty fishing lakes. Good family atmosphere. Nice cafe onsite. Showers and toilets basic but clean. Staff friendly. Walking distance to Deal.
Disliked We were there for three days and for the duration there was a big pile of bottles next to the bins. It’s a shame as the site was perfect otherwise.

Good value for money but just needs a few minor changes to make better
North field powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked My wife and I enjoyed it here, in a lovely setting surrounded by fishing lakes. Very basic no frills and good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Don’t expect luxury, all in all good value for money. An anglers paradise, with an angling shop onsite. The place was geared up for fishing which is great.
Disliked A minor point, only one male and female toilet and one shower each. They were dated but very clean and frequently kept clean. The bins were unsightly and could be screeded off and tidied, but none of this spoilt our time here.

Liked Lovely site with fishing lakes, nice and clean.
Disliked Only 1 shower and 2 toilets in each cloak room on site, ( there was 1 disabled loo too) made it very tricky and quite a wait especially for the shower.

North field powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Great pitch size, green surroundings, easy access, very helpful staff, clean toilets and showers, high pressure hot water shower, peaceful campsite, good washing up facility
Disliked No shower in disabled toilet, no shelving or bench in ladies toilets, untidy bin area

It's a fishing lake. Dont go unless you like fishing
North field powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Its all neat and tidy and well run
Disliked We had no idea it was basically a Fishing Lake. So the whole set up is about fishing. The views are very basic and the atmosphere is one of sport fishing. So we left and went wild camping instead. I don't fault the place. I think PitchUp lacked details of appropriate description

Liked Toilets were clean and sanitary
Disliked Made to sound like you could walk around the lakes but they are all fenced off making it look like a prison, the young man that worked there was rude and informed us if we are camping we are not allowed around the lakes, only 2 toilets and 1 small shower in the ladies and 1 toilet a couple of urinals and Aagain 1 small shower in the men’s

North field primitive grass campsite
Liked The staff were very friendly and helpful; providing us with recommendation on where to go out to eat or visit nearby. Other campers were also all in a cheery mood and no one was loud or disruptive at night. Everything was very straightforward and simple, and in the morning there was a lovely breakfast at the café on-site.
The facilities were also kept clean, and were modern for the place. I like things clean, so I was a bit worried about what state I'd find the toilets but they were all cleaned regularly and restocked, and always somehow smelled fresh too.
