What customers say
Spacious, well-kept sites & clean facilities, especially showers, are often praised. Friendly, helpful staff add to a great atmosphere. Location is a big plus, with easy access to local spots. While many enjoy the entertainment, some note dated facilities and occasional cleanliness hiccups, especially at busy times. Wi-Fi can be spotty.

AVOID if you want to relax.

Liked The staff I encountered were friendly.
Disliked The showers/toilets were absolutely disgusting. Sign on the door states they’re cleaned twice a day, but sign in sheets showed they were cleaned once at 04:00, and even then they were in exactly the same state. Bins were overflowing. Mould and grime in every shower, even the shower curtains were like a science experiment. Does not look like the showers were cleaned EVER. Toilets were a Petri dish of bacteria. Every single one full of streaks and unflushed “deposits”. Men’s toilets were sickening.
I understand that if you choose to camp you open yourself up to noise - but we were woken each morning by screaming children before 06:00. Sites are well maintained, which was a plus, but the noise levels were just too much.
We landed up packing up and leaving 2 days early. We just could not continue with the facilities. Lots of money forfeited for substandard cleanliness.

Liked A lovely site with plenty of amenities and a Lidl within a short walk of the park entrance. Very friendly staff and other campers
Disliked The ground was quite hard on the pitch but after the dry weather it was to be expected. We had to pitch towards the edge of the pitch as there was a large area that was just dusty ground but it was plenty big enough.
The showers were great in the morning but got intermittent during the day, and could have done with being cleaned/ serviced more regularly as the toilet roll ran out in both male and female toilets during the early evening/ late afternoon that weren’t replaced until what I guess was the first clean of the following day.

Liked The electric tent pitches were very large leaving plenty of space between tents. The layout was really nice and we were close to the toilet and shower block.
Our children enjoyed the swimming pool and slide as well as the arcade. We also had fun at bingo.

Liked Large, quiet site. Good position on the island.
Disliked Indoor pool very small. We used adjacent site. Seems like both sites use this one for entertainment so very busy and no seats unless you get there early.

Been here for the last 5 year most probably won’t return again

Liked Grounds and entertainment
Disliked Toilet and shower facilities. Black mould and lack of staff cleaning on a daily basis. They was conditioner on the floor in one of the female toilets for 3 days which eventually I wiped away. Also lack of checking on the caravan pitches. A neighbouring caravan had left and left a black bag on their pitch which the bird had. I made a complaint to the team which wasn’t dealt with in a swift matter. Myself and another neighbouring caravan had took the decision to clean it up our selves as a complaint was made and not seen to.
