What customers say
Clean, well-kept site. Staff (Emma & Terry!) are great. Spacious, private pitches. Facilities are clean, though some say dated. Great location for shops, pubs, beaches, walks. Quiet overall, but some road/plane noise. Showers cost 20p; some want facility updates.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Good even pitches in hedged locations. Site was quirky and tidy. Showers and toilets clean. Perfect location for the rally site
Disliked Right next to the airport with regular flights, and although clean the shower blocks were dated

Excellent site
Camping pod
Liked I was attending the isle of white scooter rally that was next to old barn touring park so this was great for me as I had all the comforts from home instead of being in a tent camping pod was very good with electricity and comfortable beds the staff on site where very helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Very rude owner. Avoid this place.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Location fairly close to supermarket which is good for camping supplies. Plenty of space as campsite not busy.
Disliked The owner was very rude. Please bear in mind we had already paid up front of our arrival. Upon arrival at the property (approx 5pm) we saw a sign that said report to reception. We went, but it said closed. There was no signage informing anyone which directions certain pitch numbers were. The camp site itself was not very full, so we parked up close to a family member. Approximately 4hrs after our arrival, a man (we presumed to be the owner) came marching across, asking if that was my car, and began shouting rudely at us (in front of a young child & grand parents)about us not checking in, could have let him know, and that he hadn’t had his dinner. We tried to explain, the reception sign said closed, but he continued to completely dismiss this. Continued to be rude and stormed off. CANNOT discourage this site enough purely based on this man’s behaviour towards paying customers. Also showers are not included, you need to pay to use them. (Only 20p - annoying if you don’t carry change, which a lot of people don’t anymore)

Would highly recomend!
Powered grass campsite
Liked What a lovely site, it was by far the cheapest site we looked at on the island for our stay. The others had pools and other stuff but who needs a pool when the beach is 10 mins away! It’s a well kept and clean site with lots of choices of pitch to suit. The facilities are basic but clean and well looked after and the price of using said facilities is very reasonable compared to some sites we’ve stayed at. The kids loved having a little park and games room for times when we weren’t out and about. Even the free WiFi was reasonably good and only slow in the evenings when everyone was trying to use it. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked Only a tiny dislike was the airport just down the road! At some points it felt like we were in the blitz with all the small old airplanes roaring over head.

It could have been a lovely stay but for the flies.
Powered grass campsite
Liked The location. The site was close to shops and pubs.
Beaches close by with other attractions only minutes drive.
There was a lovely lady called Emma she really helped with finding our way around.
Disliked The toilets were outdated. They were not always toilet paper to use. The flies. We were swarmed by them. It was so bad we changed sites after 3 nights. We could have asked for a different area but found by asking others the whole site was swarmed.
