Понравилось Hosts were excellent, very helpful and approachable and allowed us to extend our stay a couple of times as the site was working so well for us as we walked the coastal path. Handy to have a bus stop nearby and great position to explore the east of the island. Really cheap and a great site as a base. Nearby supermarket was also very useful!

Не понравилось The nearby airport was very busy on a Saturday in mid-September. If you're staying and like the quiet, I'd recommend going out all day if you want to avoid it. No way to compost food waste. It is a very popular park with vans and caravans, and as it was a small site, there were lots of loud comings and goings late at night and early in the morning.

Понравилось Small site, with clearly defined plots and hedging for privacy.

Не понравилось Near a main road so hard to sleep for the road noise. There was also noise during the day from building or farm work. Infrastructure is tired and dated. Paying 20p for the shower is irritating.

Понравилось Very friendly staff always happy to help with anything you needed my second time staying here very convenient for the scooter rally next door

Не понравилось Although very clean the shower/toilet block is very tired and needs investment
General surroundings need tidying up - not inviting as you drive in

Понравилось A great base to explore the island. Loved the biplanes overhead.

Понравилось Close to amenities, option for late checkout, laundry room, play area for under 10s, everything needed in one block, not to far to walk to utilities block, Emma was helpful

Не понравилось Showers and toilets could do with updating, water pressure not great unless you shower late evening when most are back at their pitch, cars driving past pitches to get to their pitch are almost touching guy ropes, games room uneven floor so pool tables wobble during play, air hockey table doesn’t work (no mains cable) table tennis table has bats and boules balls to play which obviously are to heavy to use. Play area states under 10s when my 6&9 year olds went to play there were older teens sat on the swings on their phones ignoring requests to let the little ones play, Quiet time 11pm- 8am Lorry arrived onsite every night after 11pm (possibly residential pitch) quite loud, motorbike started every morning from 7am. Pictures on advertising are outdated.

Понравилось Emma was friendly and welcoming on our arrival, and gave us a very nice pitch which thankfully had some afternoon shade which was very welcome during our heatwave summer. The campsite was neat and tidy, and the old barn is lovely and a nice place to hang out if the weather isn't great. Toilets there and in the main block were cleaned regularly.
Being near the airport there were some small planes flying over from time to time, but we enjoyed watching them go by.
The location is very convenient. There is a big Morrisons and an Aldi within 5 minutes drive, and the longest journey we had during our whole stay was 45 minutes across to the Needles. It's a perfect base for exploring the island, and a relaxing spot to chill out in at the end of the day.

Не понравилось The ablution facilities are quite old, but the showers are hot and have good water pressure, and everything was clean. Also 20p no longer needed! Yay!
Our pitch was a little tight, and we only had a small marquee and a 3-man tent. But we did specifically ask for some shade, and we were grateful that we had that over over some of the other bigger pitches which were in full sun.

Понравилось Smaller camping areas with 2 or 3 pitches per bay gives you more privacy and lots of shades and shelter from wind.

It's lovely to find a site that doesn't rip you off for showers!

Не понравилось Pitch wasn't very flat. Was quite hard to find a spot for flat sleeping.

Facilities perfectly adequate but a little tired. Could do with a freshen up.

Bitten to ribbons! Take bug repellant if the weather is dry and still!
