Liked: We really enjoyed Camping at the Manor. The fields and pitches were really well maintained. I don't think I've pitched a tent on such flat ground before. There was plenty of room for our 8 man tent, Gazebo and car. There was also plenty of room for the 3 kids to run around.
The site is set up and thought out really well. All communal spaces, toilets, showers, reception, on site pizzeria / shop are positioned in the centre of the site so nothing is too far away.
All toilets and showers were exceptionally clean and maintained. The Showers were housed in a converted horse trailer. Love that the trailer has been given a new lease of life.
The hosts were outstanding. Always on site and ready to answer any questions about the site or the Locale. They gave us plenty of tips on places to visit nearby. The site really is excellently located and close to many beaches and nearby attractions. My kids really took to crabbing whilst we were there, the hosts not only suggested good spots but they even supplied us with some bait when we had run out.
A big thank you to Stumpy and his family. We really loved our stay! We will be back.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The site was lovely, as it wasn't too busy (Easter weekend) we had lots of pitches to choose from, all nice and flat. The site owners are lovely and the whole set up is nicely done.
Disliked: Not so much an actual dislike, as there is only hot water in showers in the morning and no hot water available to wash dishes I personally wouldn't want to stay more than a weekend.

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The little area with the site shop had a little fire benches and music which was a really nice area in contrast to the quiet and peaceful spots to pitch up in. Also had a lovely member of staff inform us they were cooking homemade pizzas at a certain time which was delicious! I took my 5 year old boy and he absolutely loved every second from interacting with the stay to playing football on the open spaces to sitting around our firepit by the tent. Would definitely come again and highly recommend :) also had help from the staff when my car wouldnt start in the morning!

Liked: Excellent location (only about ten minutes' drive to the coast). Nice and quiet at night. Flat pitches. The site is spread out over three fields, which stops it feeling too big. Great little shop on site - so nice to have the option to buy coffee and breakfast, and pizzas in the evening!

Liked: Wow, what can I say about this amazing Campsite? Yes it’s only a pop-up so it’s not used all year but it is fantastic. With such lovely welcoming Team. We were lucky to be staying here last two nights of the season. The campsite Consist of three lovely size fields or flat and you can choose where you set up. Pitch sizes Are drawn out and a lovely size. Yes Composting toilet can be an issue for some people but not us and these are amazing and keep extremely clean at all times.
We really enjoyed both the breakfasts (bacon rolls and omelettes) and the pizza they cook on site. (Stumpy) The owner takes it upon himself to walk around the site several times throughout the day to ensure everybody is happy as well as busy working insuring cleanliness and tidiness of the site.
We started enjoyed having a fire pit each evening sitting out under the stars. It was beautiful and our little one loved playing with all the other children camping near us.
This really is a gem of a Campsite and we will definitely be back.
Thank you from us and Maddi Moo 🐮

Liked: Where do I begin a returned camper back to this beautiful place owned by one guy (stumpy) who seems to be an octopus in disguise if he’s not checking in customers as they arrive, he’s cleaning and making sure his camp is tidy or walking around and personally checking in on every single camper with friendly conversation and banter. I cannot fault this campsite at all and it really is our favourite campsite. What people need to understand before they criticise the site is that this is environmentally friendly and that this campsite is owned by one man and if you ask questions about the campsite he will tell you that he created this beautiful site himself and how he did it and with ongoing updates and plans I only look forward to seeing what next year brings. My two children absolutely adore stumpy and upon leaving it’s a must that we find him and personally say goodbye you are not going to find a friendly campsite such as this!
Disliked: Leaving as always and petty people leaving negative reviews about someone’s hard work and creativity my advice to them people go see if you can do better because I assure you that you can’t!
