Liked: Booked as an overnight stop whilst in the area. Everything you could ask for. Plus the bonus of having a fab Cafe, staff very friendly and great coffee. Tap room with reasonably priced beer… wish we could have sampled more but driving early in the morning. Would definitely visit again!
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Everything about this site was perfect for us. It is a simple field set up around a football pitch on a working farm which was perfect for the children. There are few facilities but that wasn't a problem for us. On the same site there was a fantastic cafe where we had breakfast and a farm shop, this was separate to the camp site so don't expect to get essential camping supplies from here. There is a better shop a short drive away (you could walk to it). The campsite manager was very helpful. It's a back to basics sort of camp site, no play areas just nature's playground and we loved it. The microbrewery on site looked popular although we didn't get a chance to try it out.

Liked: Wonderful sit, there's a really nice brewery with local beers and ciders, with a live band on in the evening - advise to take your camping chairs with you though because it gets full! It's a real taste of the country with the comfort of beer, food and a little shop on site! There are football goals up in the field, and table tennis by the brewery entrance. Good for entertainment! Cafe for breakfast in the morning wa lovely!

Liked: Really chilled, friendly. I wanted somewhere not to far away to try out some new camping equipment before I take my 3yr old on a trip! So it was ideal for one night.

Liked: the welcome and the proximity to the catering services were really nice. The place is quiet for camping and in the evening a visit in the brewery to enjoy a good pint is great.

Liked: Good ground. Nice view. Clear information for arrival/facilities. Arrived late and left early so didn't see anyone. Toilet and sink facility. Was access to a fridge and kettle. Great cafe next to site.
Disliked: The sink was not working in the ladies toilet.
