Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Location is great for a day away from London. I love the fact of being able to do the fire, everyone respectful and very quiet. You have a nice walking path. I thought I could be able to swim but there is not facilities for it. The showers are hot and nice.
Disliked Even if it is a dry toilet I will suggest the possibility to change the bag at least two times per day, otherwise you can see and smell the sheet of everyone in the camping 😅 would be nice to have access to water, even if it cold to wash your hands after using the toilet.

Don't want come back definitely. Pitches designed ridiculously.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Not much, maybe an idea to be eco campsite
Disliked Awful customer service. Man who's worked there was very unpleasant and intimidated people on campsite trying to blame everyone for some things happened before we actually arrived. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour. It's not the right way you should contact and speak to people on site.

Pretty standard! Basics covered, good amount of space.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Good size of pitch! Managed a lot of kit with plenty of room left over! Fire pit was nice but the location within the pitch differed per pitch. Surrounding fields are nice too
Disliked Name of the site is misleading, more of a field view than the Thames. Eco friendly composting toilets could use some more regular cleaning/emptying (they are cleaned once a day but could maybe do with a deep clean) as well as the shower cubicles. One sink for washing up which caused some queues in the morning

Wouldn’t go back.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Camping is always fun. Horses nearby were very friendly. Wood logs to purchase onsite was useful.
Disliked Very populated site. The toilets were the worst I’ve ever experienced - composting loos emptied once a day - with so many guests it was a horrid experience going to the loo and by early evening the smell was putrid enough to stink by our tents.
Passcode padlocks were temperamental.

Nothing…
Primitive grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Nothing
Disliked I have never been to a campsite so ugly, unpleasant, with pylons as the view and a derelict car junk yard to welcome us in. It was so ugly, unclean and unwelcoming I had to leave without staying. Dont stay here. Please dont let the website fool you

Primitive grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked A peaceful site, with an Environment friendly ethos. Compost toilets spread out across the site, washing up facility and showers.
Easy to book and self check in.
Disliked Not a negative comment but we didn’t realise we wouldn’t be allocated a pitch. It was a turn up and find a pitch scenario and as we arrived later afternoon therefore we couldn’t easily find an available pitch but regardless we found somewhere on the end and was quite happy.

Lovely site - could use a bit more presence from someone popping round
Primitive grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice mown circular pitches with allows each person their own space, separated by longer grass. Good security too with locks on the gates so no passersby wandering through. Hot water for washing up.
Disliked Compositing toilets ran out of toilet roll and didn't feel well looked after. Didn't see anyone visit them all day Saturday despite the site being packed.
Lots of people allowing kids to scream and run about well into the night. 11.30pm it finally got quiet (curfew for noise here is 11pm but most campsites suggest 10pm, so i think the later curfew encourages the noise running late into the evening).

Loved it extended it, will be back. Green site with lots of comforts
Primitive grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Excellent location , large circular pitches separated by natural long grass with pathways between gave excellent privacy but still allowing to be social if you wanted to. Definately our prefered pitch design. The picnic bench and fire pit per pitch was prefect and we'll used. Really warm powerful shower, the best we had use at a campsite for a while. Found the compost loos easy to use from the instructions (plenty of them). Washing and washing up sink used and two water points were plenty. Definately will stay againand extended our stay whilst we were there. Meet some really nice people and there are great walks to the forts (& cafe) or nature reserve also excellent for our dog Prefect for star grazing & sunrises and falls around the firepit. Others staying at the same time found it easy to catch a train into central London and also to bike ride from here.
Disliked Nothing.
