If you’re looking for a restful adults-only location for a Lancashire camping break close to one of the most famous seaside resorts in the UK, then Norcross may be the very spot for you. Approached by a rural lane, the grass pitches are on a level field sheltered by trees, yet this secluded camping field is just 20 minutes’ drive from the bright lights and mega-attractions of Blackpool. In fact, Norcross is close to lots of places: you can be ordering a pint in the local pub within five minutes’ walk, or carry on to the village of Newton with Scales (10 minutes’ walk) for a basics shop, cash point and post office. Hop in the car and head to the market town of Kirkham (five minutes’ drive) to pick up bits and bobs in the supermarket or bag a takeaway, while a 20-minute drive will see you in Lytham St Annes for beach walks, a Victorian pier and playing golf on a prestigious links course. Amenities on site are straightforward: a couple of loos and recycling facilities, but you can buy fresh eggs for a hearty breakfast fry up, seasonal fruit or veg and plants from the owners’ farm shop – they also run a smallholding with sheep and free-range hens.

  • No electric barbecues allowed.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • The maximum tent size allowed is 2.1m x 3.8m x 1.4m height. Electricity is metered on site at £0.30 per kWh and must be paid at check-out.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked A well-organised campsite with good-sized pitches and excellent, clean facilities. The toilets and showers are always well maintained, and there’s also a disabled toilet and shower, plus an outdoor shower.

The site sells fresh eggs, fruit and vegetables, as well as plants. On Saturdays, they have freshly baked bread and delicious cakes, which are well worth trying.

The manager is always on hand, friendly, and very helpful, making sure everything runs smoothly. A lovely site that I would happily recommend.

FHU grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Lovely peaceful site. Great facilities, always clean and never any issues. Owners were amazing, friendly and accommodating. The onsite Annie's Egg Shed was a massive plus! As well as the fresh baked goods on Saturday. Will definitely return!

Liked Well kept caravan pitches, easy to set up water, drainage and electric. Nice wet room. The owners are really nice and friendly and although the electric is metered they don’t rip you off. Very nice and peaceful site.

Disliked The site is not very well signed on the main road, though the sign is down the driveway on the gate post, and the entrance to the site is untidy with old machinery and pallets of old stuff around. We do appreciate that they run a nursery business at the entrance but it could be fenced off from the site.

Liked Andy & Annie are straight up lovely people. They offer peace & quiet lovely pitches away from the world of providing entertainment they provide blissful fields with livestock ,plants and flowers, farm grocery, eggs and down to earth goodness. Easy to find coming off the motorways. Most of all their kindness I. Will definitely be back for sure 😎👌🙏😎

Liked We liked the location, how spotlessly clean the toilets and shower room was, large pitches. Owners were very easy to talk to. The site had an area to buy plants and fresh fruit and veg and we had a pop up bakery Saturday morning. Beautiful cakes!

Liked Great site. Has large level hard standing pitches. Electric is metered so very reasonable price. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable. There are 4 individual toilet huts, an outdoor shower and one new disabled toilet/shower unit. This site is seriously good value for money. Booked one night, stayed for 2 and will definitely use again.

Local pub about 5 minutes walk is dog friendly.
