If you’re looking for a restful adults-only location for a Lancashire camping break close to one of the most famous seaside resorts in the UK, then Norcross may be the very spot for you. Approached by a rural lane, the grass pitches are on a level field sheltered by trees, yet this secluded camping field is just 20 minutes’ drive from the bright lights and mega-attractions of Blackpool. In fact, Norcross is close to lots of places: you can be ordering a pint in the local pub within five minutes’ walk, or carry on to the village of Newton with Scales (10 minutes’ walk) for a basics shop, cash point and post office. Hop in the car and head to the market town of Kirkham (five minutes’ drive) to pick up bits and bobs in the supermarket or bag a takeaway, while a 20-minute drive will see you in Lytham St Annes for beach walks, a Victorian pier and playing golf on a prestigious links course. Amenities on site are straightforward: a couple of loos and recycling facilities, but you can buy fresh eggs for a hearty breakfast fry up, seasonal fruit or veg and plants from the owners’ farm shop – they also run a smallholding with sheep and free-range hens.

喜欢 Lovely site, warm welcome on arrival. We were given our choice of pitches, all fully serviced, hard standing. The pitches were well kept and spacious with ample room between us and the next unit.
The toilets and showers were cleaned on a daily basis and well stocked at all times. We didn't use the outdoor shower but it had an electric shower unit and looked 👌.
There is a handy cabin onsite selling fruit, veg and eggs and a lovely plant nursery. All in all a peaceful site with friendly owners, sheep and racing pigeons. Bus stop, petrol station and pub just up the road and a local village shop within walking distance.
Highly recommend.

喜欢 Very quiet lovely little area well kept and spotlessly clean !! Owners where lovely paid for electricity on the way out stayed for 2 nights until dinner time last day only cost £4.30 total there was a little field in front aswell with some sheep in which was really nice to will definitely go again

不喜欢 The only thing was the shower there is one in the disabled toilet the one we used we couldn’t get the temperature right so was either really cold and really hot no in between there was another shower outside but we didn’t try that one maybe that one would of been better but overall stay was very nice and wouldn’t deduct anything because of that

喜欢 Extremely friendly family run campsite. Beautiful views, very quiet and relaxing. With having mobility issues the disabled wet room/toilet was brilliant. Electricity for 4 night was extremely cheap, £4 for 4 nights. The walk 😃 or in my case the wheelchair walk to Kirkham was not too far away. They sell eggs and other products on the campsite and also at the Kirkham square. Would we visit and recommend this campsite - 100%. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great visit.

喜欢 A little slice of heaven. No kids, peace and quiet, nice people, sheep in the field, racing pigeons exercising and playing at dusk, before going to bed for the night. Absolutely silent, and a beautiful sunset. Modern, and spotlessly clean disabled facilities. Clean loos and shower. What’s not to love.
Will definitely be making this a regular site to visit. No, make that favourite site to visit.

喜欢 Spacious level pitches, you could choose your own. Excellent price pn. Electric charged on departure for what you use. Good arrival & departure times. Lovely clean shower & toilet facilities. Really friendly owners.
Eggs & veg for sale plus a big range of garden plants. A lady sells gorgeous home made bread, pies & cakes on saturdays. Pub down the road. Fab stay will def come back.

That’s just for starters though; don’t neglect the 4D movies and panoramic views from the Blackpool Tower Eye or miss the chance to see rare Bornean orangutans at Blackpool Zoo. If you prefer to be out in the fresh country air, you can have a rip-roaring run around on the inflatables at Blackpool Wake Park (15 minutes). Easy access to Junction 3 of the M55 (10 minutes’ drive) also makes it a complete doddle to reach the walking and cycling routes of the southern Lake District National Park (55 minutes) or the Forest of Bowland National Landscape (40 minutes). Other intriguing options for outings include Ribble Steam Railway & Museum (10 minutes), the half-timbered (and possibly haunted) Samlesbury Hall (20 minutes) and the impressive beasts of the Owl & Bird of Prey Sanctuary (20 minutes).
