  • Peaceful pitches on a working farm just outside Stalmine
  • A 20-minute drive from Blackpool and half an hour from Lancaster
  • Dogs welcome on site; local pub 10 minutes' walk away
It’s all about peaceful times at Pointer Farm Campsite, a spacious site on a working farm in the Lancashire countryside just outside the village of Stalmine. This is a place to pitch up (with dog in tow if you’ve got one) for great rural rambles followed by evenings spent sipping real ale or dining on tasty meals at a country pub. It’ll take you 10 minutes or so to wander down to the local hostelry, but if you don’t fancy venturing that far you’re welcome to light up a barbecue for open-air dinners on site instead. Being out in a proper rural location means plenty of space and quiet around this site – but this site isn’t quite as remote as its surroundings might suggest. A 15-minute drive gets you from the farm to Poulton-le-Fylde and it’s only a little further to the bright lights of Blackpool (about a 20-minute drive in total). The bus stop in the village means there’s also the option to get down to the coast using public transport if you’d rather leave the car behind. Back at the farm, facilities are simple but well kept: the smart modern facilities block has unisex toilets and showers along with a washing-up area, and there’s also free wifi so you can keep in contact with the wider world.

What customers say

A peaceful, well-kept spot with roomy, level sites, electricity, and water. Guests love the clean, warm restrooms and showers and the easy self-check-in. It's well-located for local spots and attractions. Minor notes: shared bathrooms, occasional long grass, and gravelly sites. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Toilet / shower facilities were cleaned regularly and the showers were hot which I was worried about. Spacious pitches and it’s clear it’s a fairly new campsite.
Great Pub is a 10 min walk away. Blackpool was 45 mins on a bus and lots of little seaside villages around.

Disliked Really wish this site had a park for the kids…. Although they entertained themselves when on site it would benefit for a change of scenery than the same field. Not really a dislike just would be a customer recommendation

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked We like about the Campite that it was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and lovely. Spaces In-between the tent on the next pitch.

Disliked Shelf in cubicles to put your essentials on, Freezer to put ice packs in, more car parking spaces, uneven path.

Liked It was a very chilled, relaxed campsite. The shower box were clean and tidy.

Disliked The only bad thing I can think of, and it's not to do with the campsite is been woken up by cows at like 5 o'clock in the morning.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Lovely quiet site with a large field for children to play in.
Showers and toilets immaculate.
Water available at your pitch along with electric.
It was lovely to be able to hire a fire pit with enough wood for two nights.
Local shops and close to Fleetwood/Cleveleys.
Owner very helpful.
Birds of prey to spot! Along with lots of farm animals around.
The only thing missing for me was a communal freezer for freezer blocks but to stay somewhere as peaceful as this, it wasn't an issue, especially with the nearby shops. Can't wait to come back!
