Hidden gem of a site
Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Pitches were very spacious
Facilities were clean
Site is very well kept
Kim was lovely and came and greeted us the first night we were there
Disliked If I had to split hairs, there's only two showers, the site wasn't full and there was a bit of a wait to use them. The grass had been cut and the trimmings not removed so everything was covered in grass. The firewood we bought from the site was wet so we couldn't burn it.

Excellent site with great facilities
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely peaceful chilled vibe to this campsite, firepits and bbqs on with people chilling and enjoying the surroundings.
Very clean and modern shower block with plenty of space in the wet room. I particularly liked the big mirrors with plug sockets underneath for hairdryer/straighthers!
Our pitch was hard standing and nobody was next to us which we were glad about as we wouldn’t have had much room to spread out.
Very friendly owner (Kim) with knowledge of the area. We went to the canal side pub for a meal which was very nice, we drove though as the weather wasn’t very good. About 20 mins drive into Chester which was great as we took the park and ride. We loved it here and will return in the future.

Lovely, clean and peaceful campsite
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Pitches are sectioned out with bunting which takes the stress out of getting a good pitch and the ground is lovely as flat. Shower, toilet and washing facilities were modern and very well maintained. The campsite is very peaceful and Kim who runs the campsite was very welcoming and lovely to chat to!

We stayed here for a weekend…
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked We stayed here for a weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better break. The site is incredibly peaceful—perfect for switching off and relaxing. Kim was so lovely and welcoming, which really made the stay even more enjoyable.
The toilet and shower blocks are modern and spotless, clearly very well looked after. A huge bonus for us was the secure dog field—ideal for letting the dog run freely without any worries.
Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Excellent small site, great facilities & friendly staff/communication
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great little site to with excellent facilities, everything was lovely and clean. Only booked last minute on the day of our stay. Great info from Kim and she came to say hello and check everything was ok. Great communication with numbers for barrier and toilets etc. Went on a nice walk from the site along the canal, info about directions was in the washing up room. Able to buy logs and rent fire pits if needed. Great night away, thank you😊
Disliked Nothing, however can hear the A road in the distance.
