Power optional grass campsite
Liked: Just back from a fabulous family bank holiday weekend away. Enormous pitch and an even bigger field for the kids to explore. Facilities are basic and functional but more than adequate. Owners are fantastic, present and approachable if you need anything and we got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble.
Very family friendly where kids can disappear and play as intended but quiet enough to be able to chill out.
Very reasonably priced logs available on site if you take your fire pit.
Disliked: Having to pack up and leave.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked: Only two other campers, good mostly level field, good facilities including clean toilets. I liked the fact the field had a gate to access so cars etc couldn’t just drive in.
Disliked: Adjacent road had quite a lot of heavy Farm traffic during the evening, I pitched at the far side and was not disturbed overnight.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: The space to pitch, you could choose anywhere over the 2 fields. The facilities were fantastic, clean and well maintained.
Disliked: The fact that the road adjacent to the site suddenly got a heck of a lot busier at night. We hardly slept due to the noise....all...night....long.
